My husband and I started our cattery when our first daughter was only 6 months old. From that time on, she learned so quickly how to gently handle the kittens. She is now 3.5, and it amazes me every day watching her with them! The way she whispers sweet nothings to them, telling them how cute they are. 😆

Now with my second daughter, who had kittens surrounding her since the week she was born 🤣 I have watched her watch her sister and mimick everything she does. I have never seen a more gentle 1 year old with kittens. And she is not a very gentle kid. 🤣😵💫 She's my crazy wild child.

I have many nephews and nieces (total of 19 on both sides), and the ones who are 2-3 years old are much less gentle and don't know how to handle them! It makes me so glad we started this venture together *after* we had kids! 🤍

I know how much value it immensely adds to the sociability of our kittens. Whenever I am doing the chores; I'm in there cleaning, feeding, etc - and sometimes I only have time to do just that. So having my 2 girls in there with me provides that extra social time. And the kittens absolutely LOVE them! They get so excited. 🥺😻 There's nothing quite like the magical imaginations of children playing.
