Shibui ni Animal Rescue and Sanctuary This is the page for Shibui ni Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. I had a passion for dogs from the womb. My sanctuary is Shibui ni, and my name is Tere.

In today's world, as more and more people see dogs as "throw-away," there is an unlimited need for rescue and safe homes. When people do not spay or neuter their pets, there is an exponential growth in the number of strays, being malnourished, hit by cars, attacked by other animals, diseased, etc. Providing a lifetime safe space for those strayed and feral animals on their last legs is what I do.

Argos is my influencer. He is very comfortable with his sexuality. Some days boys just want to feel pretty.

Occasionally, I forget that I'm running a daycare/orphanage/old age facility. But then, I realize that I'm sitting in a house that smells of urine, Togo is currently eating a wad of houseplant dirt, Kavik has been poking my hand every time I quit scratching her head, and Argos just vomited on my lap.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the yardsale/fundraiser. My kennel yards have been untenable, with holes, hard clay, weeds, burrs, thistle. With half of the proceeds from the fundraiser I was able to have gravel spread. It is so much better! It is safer and much easier to maintain. Thank you!

Boonrod came to the sanctuary on November 09, 2020. I had just moved here, and her kennel was still being finished. She couldn't "be around people or animals," was the story. Five days later, here she is being the welcome committee for the fence builder. Just give a dog a chance!
