Fetching Dog Treats Donated

A HUGE thank you to our Fetching supporters who donated dog treats! I got to deliver them to a very special rescue while shooting my segment— “Rebecca’s Rescue Spotlight” for WCYB Wednesday. This meant the world to the rescue’s founder and ALL DAY/EVERY DAY animal caregiver Melissa Gentry. At Rescue DOG & End of Life Sanctuary NOBODY is getting paid. They are all volunteers. Melissa gives her whole heart and sacrifices so much to care for these castaway pups and other animals. The rescue survives on donations. So, THANK YOU. Rescuers save dog stranded in tree!

Little Athena was swept away by flood waters in Washington County, TN. She somehow ended up in a tree, and when the water receded…she was 20 feet off the ground! A Murfreesboro Police Department K9 alerted the rescue team (which included members of the Kingsport Fire Department) and they were able to save her. This week— she was reunited with her family!

Adopt Me dog treats delivered!! And, I got to spend some time with Astra, Duke, Buddy, Jane and Rain. Remembering Neyland

Posting this video in memory of this sweet boy, Neyland. His mama, who misses him with her whole heart, just donated treats in honor of her NeyNey. Next stop is the Unicoi County, TN Animal Shelter. They are so overrun with homeless pets that many are being crated — often with more than one animal in each crate. 😔 Thank you, @Ashley Chesney Gowland for helping them as a tribute to Neyland. 👇👇👇 Ashley’s note: 🌈 🐾 Neyland's 14th birthday would have been on Sunday 3/31. In his memory, we'd like to donate treats to whichever shelter or rescue you feel needs the most help adopting dogs to loving homes.
