I am WAY behind in updates on the group and my page, so let’s start with Sam.

First off happy baby season!

It’s been a busy one.

Sam was found in a sunny field by a farmer, and he was super dehydrated. He has quite the personality and gets super excited when anyone gives him any attention.

We brought him back really well and fast health wise. He is taking to the bottle amazing, although he still won’t latch onto it himself.

If you would like to learn how to “adopt” one of our animals as a fun summer activity for your family please let me know.

We are counting down the days until we have itty bitty babies again🦌

But first, before babies start coming in we have to make sure we have all our enclosures, formula, medicine, etc ready!

My big goal this year is to raise $10,000 for the rescue, this would allow us to help so many animals, build more enclosures, take in new species and so much more.

I thought we would start with a simple Facebook fundraiser, and then over the next couple months keep your eyes peeled for some exciting updates!💜💜

Our newest intake, River. She was found buried up to her nose in muck in a river today. She was cold and almost gone, some kayakers got her out and with some quick thinking met up with me. I got some bounce back in her and some meds. Now she is relaxing and we hope she pulls through.
They were also amazing, and gave the rescue a donation for the baby🦌
