Cats of the Archangel here...
We are staying another winter but we see our mom struggling to feed us, keep our boxes clean and , I'm winter, keep us warm using propane and now, in Summer, keeping us cool with our wonderful A.C..
If you could help us out by donating a little, our mom might smile again.

There has to be someone out there willing and able to help a Crazy Cat Lady.
She's a terrific cat mom and we hate seeing her like this... stressed!

Our DOTS is not doing well.
A month ago she had a bad URI which finally cleared but now she has no interest in food.
I'm syringe feeding her every few hours and giving sub q fluids but she's very weak.

Let me start by saying how grateful I am for all my loyal sponsors who have watched me struggle to keep my kitty family together since the loss of my husband and my inheritance, which I still had when I took in the homeless and unwanted. The decision was not made in haste.
My plans to buy a house, move and sell my beloved Archangel has not happened.
Now I find myself in a very bad place. I have to stay here for the winter because the boat needs to be heated. This will be the final blow to my financial woes. I'm not even sure I'll make it on what little savings remain and I see no way out. Giving up my cats, the only real family I have left, with the exception of 1 family member who has gone the extra mile to help me, has me shattered. All the cats, except 1, are seniors now. I made a promise to them to keep them safe and loved until their time comes and now I might realistically have to break that promise.
Most if not all of them would not do well elsewhere. That's the cold hard truth.
I'm bearing my soul here... asking you trusted members of this group to please consider lending us a hand one more time.
I hate to sound like I'm begging here but basically I guess I am. With my recently discovered myriad of health issues recently diagnosed, finding a job I'm actually able to do... well I haven't found one nor do I even know what that would be if I were to try to start all over again. Caring for 26 cats at my age IS a full time job.
If you could find it in your hearts to help me keep my promise to my beloved kitty family, I'd be forever grateful. Without them I won't be able to go on.
I'm sorry this sounds so pathetic but that's basically what my situation is. Sad and pathetic.

Moozer here from the Earth Window at the Bridge...
I look down upon the beloved ship Archangel and I see a bunch of sadness.
Especially Mom, but also a bunch of the Archangel Cats.
Last night they lost another brother... LB- LOVE Bug.
Mom helped him cross as did she Moose in May and Shadow in March.
2021 has not been kind to them.
Mom has been looking for a house but no luck yet so she will have to stay aboard the Archangel 1 more winter. This will be VERY expensive and not at all what she wanted to do.
The costs are adding up. Mom is scared.

The grief she carries with the added financial worries are taking a toll on her.
My website, cathugger.com will be no more as of August 19th. This is very painful for Mom too. She tried her best.

Hello Faithful Cathugger members.
It is with deep sorrow I must tell you that after a 10 year run, making no profit at all, in fact incurring quite a large loss, I am not going to be able to keep cathugger.com live much longer.
I know I'm preaching to the choir because those of you reading this have done your part. However after Neil's sudden death I lost almost half my income to the point I'm going to have to move off the Archangel and sell her to have money to live on and I'm not even sure how long that will last me for.
I'm scared. Savings are dwindling too rapidly and with monthly hosting fees of $120, even your upgraded memberships only cover about 3 months at the most. The rest has had to come out of pocket and I just can't do it anymore.
Then there's the SSL Certificate Google insists on thats $150/yr and a Protection Program thats 350/yr so we dont get hacked like we did once before awhile back. So you can see how i, living on Survivor Benefits- a fixed income, am no longer able to sustain Cathugger.
It's breaking my heart to no longer be able to see friends having fun but I know this is my only option.
So if you want to save anything you've worked so hard on, please save it or screen shot the pages or whatever works best for you.
If you paid dues any time within the last year and are owed a refund, please contact me and I'll return it to you or you could just "let it ride" as a donation to caring and feeding and vetting the cats of the Archangel.
I'll most likely pay for 1 more month of hosting, July 2021, but then cathugger.com will be no more.
I'm so sorry my dream fell apart.
