one thing about Major….he’s gonna show off

did you know? when male turkeys “strut,” they are trying to attract females OR display dominance. his face turns blue and his snood drapes over his beak. I can often find Major over at his girlfriend Minor’s pen showing off for her. she pips at him to let him know he is doing a great job.

Major loves to show off when new people arrive at the house to show them his slow walk and pretty feathers.

A little ASMR this Tuesday from the piglets! 3 weeks old and already testing out the grain. AKKPS piglets ready for new homes first week of December 😁
