Friends we need your help!! This is Jace, the dog that was found by the 94th Precinct several weeks ago. The family that took him in is dealing with a personal matter and are no longer able to care for this beautiful pup. He is now staying with another family until a permanent home can be found. If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting this gorgeous dog, who is sweet, chill, and very playful, please reach out to us ASAP. He is fully vaccinated and in good health. Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting the lovely family that has adopted the puppy that was left at the 94th Precinct earlier this week!! They have named him Jace, and he is a bundle of joy, energy, and cuteness!!! And we also had the pleasure of giving him his first bath! I like taking my dog Jax to the dog park; and spending time with my family. I love traveling with my dog and taking road trips as well:) He’s my life!!! 🫶

Today, we remember and honor the heroes, the victims, and the resilience of all those impacted by 9/11. We also honor the countless search and rescue dogs that traveled from far away to help locate survivors and the many that were lost; the therapy dogs that provided love, comfort and support to our first responders, who worked tirelessly and around the clock. Let’s never forget the bravery, unity, and love that emerged from such a tragic day.

JoJo is a 14-year old Havanese - a source of happiness to the company’s founder Carmen Akella, and her family since his birth. He is the focal point of her family’s life. He has been a recipient of endless love and affection and enjoys a pampered life. This includes home cooked, human-grade, organic meals, play time, snuggles, walks through Central Park, taking up half the bed every night, sitting in the window seat when flying, always getting the front seat of the car, amongst everything else imaginable.

Circa 2004, the business plan was conceived by the founder as part of an entrepreneurship course requirement for her MBA at the Johnson School, at Cornell University. A plan that won the accolades of her peers and professor, a respected venture capitalist. Family life and then career goals kept the founder from launching the business. However, her passion for pets and for this business remained strong.

The differentiated model when conceived was leaps ahead of its time relative to competition and remains so at present. The company’s offerings are identical to JoJo’s life at the founder’s home: the basis for the tag line, “Your pet, your home”.

After spending almost 20 years in the advertising industry, Carmen opened the doors to JoJo & Co Pet Club (http://jojopetclub.com) on October 8th, 2020 at One Blue Slip (https://oneblueslip.com) in Greenpoint Landing Brooklyn (https://greenpointlanding.com).
