Before moving to NYC, our daycare counselor Sarah, grew up right outside of Tennessee and volunteered at Unicoi Animal Shelter. It was one of the many places impacted by Hurricane Helene. Fortunately, all of the dogs and cats were moved to fosters and a neighboring shelter. If you are able to help in any way, we will be matching donations this week in honor of Sarah. Contributions will help rebuild vet care, food & supplies for the animals. Mahalo nui loa! ❤️🐶🐱

This sunset picture was taken in Lahaina, Maui during our first visit to the island together in 2014. Rich visited Maui annually with his family growing up, and it’s his favorite island! I used to go on school conference trips to the island, and it was always a nice way to meet others from all parts of Hawaii. We are so saddened to see this beautiful town completely burned down and all the people and animals impacted by the wildfires/hurricane. 🙏🏼❤️
