📣 Over the weekend I signed my business up to host military pets while their owners are away (deployment, training. Etc.) I will be hosting my first two dogs at the end of the month for a few months while their owner is away doing training. I feel honored to be able to help out our military personnel and am excited for Haute Paws & Claws to reach people who are not just in Florida! I think this is an amazing way to give back to our servicemen and women and am excited to share updates with you all!

Well I didn’t get any pictures of my baths/grooms…. but Spike got his bath and ears cleaned. He got the start of his shavedown (tomorrow I finish it and I WILL get pictures taken) he was a tired pup ❤️

🐾 We have a lot of exciting new things in the works! Not a lot can be discussed at this time but just know a lot more is coming from HP&C! We did just have a new service “go live” and we are hoping it has a good response 🤞. It is a grooming day for the resident pets so stay tuned to see before & after pictures!

🐾🐶🐱 March is Pet Poison Awareness month. Do you know what to do if your pet is exposed to something harmful or eats something they shouldn’t have? Did you know there is a pet poison hotline that is open 24/7? Take a look at the website and save the # JUST IN CASE! It is better to be prepared than to not be. There is also an “Emergency Instruction” tab that walks you through step-by-step instructions if your pet has been exposed to a poisonous substance. You can even search the substance your pet got exposed to by category/name! This is IMPORTANT so please take a look and be cautious of what your pet is around 👍 🐶❤️🐱

🐾 Although these 3 sleeping beauties ARE allowed to sleep in the bed at Haute Paws & Claws - we accommodate the pawrent’s decision when it comes to being on furniture and sleeping in human beds. So even though our viewers are seeing pets on furniture and in the bed - it was with the owner’s permission to be able to have them on the furniture.

🐱🐶 If you are a pet parent who does not allow your furry family members on any furniture then HP&C will not allow your pets on furniture. We want to enforce the same rules that the pets have at their home while your pet is “boarded.” This allows for a new environment to feel more homey since the same rules/expectations are creating a familiar atmosphere.

This. This is my “why” for wanting to have my own business. Knowing that these 3 are comfortable, safe, and loved is my biggest motivation for wanting to open my own “facility.” The goal is make the experience fun and exciting! It is difficult to get this kind of outcome at a regular facility; there are just so many different things going on! This is just the 2nd night but this is what I want pets to have when they are in my care. A comfortable place where they feel at home! 🐾❤️🐶

🐾 Someone found something they like! If you look closely between the paws you will see Piper found a new chew toy (unfortunately that one belongs to a significantly smaller dog and Piper was not able to keep that toy due to the fact it is just a little too small for her) ❤️ Maui is thankful that the “big dog bed” has freshly new sheets and is ready to be slept in!

🐾 HP&C would like to welcome Maui, Easton and Piper to the family! These beauties are boarding for the first time at our home “facility!” They are also the first canines to be boarding since Haute Paws & Claws, LLC became an official business! So far everyone seems comfortable as we are winding down for the night. I would like to thank their pawrents for trusting Haute Paws & Claws to care for their fur babies while they are on vacation! ❤️
