Valiant's training continues- as the weather has improved- so we traveled to Fannin; practiced loading, hauling, a little arena time, a little field time and general sight seeing new things. We are making progress on lead changes.
It is difficult to describe to a non-horse person what raising up a foal- and teaching it to be a solid citizen is like (let's face it- big animals + little people = can sometimes result in injuries).
But, it is a passion and a lifestyle- no matter how difficult the lifestyle, the passion drives you- it is the air that you need in order to breathe.
PulseVet ProPulse VersaTron
A little video clip of Farrah having shockwave therapy today. She will have 3 sessions, 2-3 weeks apart given by our lameness vet. Each treatment is $450. Purpose of video is to show you what the machine looks like, sound like, etc.. The vet is on his 3rd upgraded machine from pulsevet.
Also, next week we will be using a polyacrylamide hydro-gel injection from Arthramid-Vet/Contura Vet. I will try to get video of that procedure as well.
I'll save the medical specifics for another time and place.
We are very much blessed to have 2 highly skilled vets and 1 exceptional journeyman farrier dedicated to Farrah.

German Riding Ponies Bleu (5 months) and Squeaker (2 years). Half brothers (same dam, different sire). They appear to love each other BUT wait for it...
