You may have heard us say that for the safety of the pup and for us, we couldn’t do a part of the groom. This is an example of what that looks like for us and your pup. Sometimes this is due to past trauma which we can work through. Sometimes it’s just the pup’s preference to not be touched.

We want to thank you for your business and wish you a happy new year. Our staff values each of our clients and their furry family members and we look forward to serving your family in 2025.

We’ve all experienced price increases in the recent past and Jowls and Meows is not exempt. We’ve seen the cost of products used to keep your dog comfortable and protected increase significantly. For example, one of the cleaners we use to sanitize your dog’s kennel has increase from $19 to $40 per case. Another cleaner has increased from $40 to $60 per gallon. Our employee costs have also risen significantly since 2023.

Unfortunately, Jowls and Meows will have to increase the prices for boarding beginning February 1st, 2025. Boarding prices have not increased since 2022. Our commitment to keeping the services we offer affordable has not been ignored while contemplating this increase. We are still the least expensive option in the region, and we have provided some examples below. Beginning February 1st, 2025, boarding prices will be:

Standard Kennel (Both Locations) $28/night for the first dog and $21/night for each additional dog
Large Kennel (Georgetown) $32/night for the first dog and $24/night for each additional dog
Suites (Mt. Orab) $32/night for the first dog and $24/night for each additional dog
Cat Boarding (Both Locations) $16/night for the first cat and $12/night for each additional cat

Other kennel pricing:
Towne and Country: $28/night for a small kennel and $34/night for a large kennel
Lobo Kennel: $34/night for a small kennel and $46/night for a large kennel
Fox Fire: $30/night for one dog and $50/night for two dogs
Country Lane: $35/night for one dog and $65/night for two dogs
Suite Paws: $30-$42/night for a small and $41-$47/night for a suite (Increase with occupancy)

As I’m sure yall have figured out, our lobby will be closed tomorrow and Wednesday so my staff can enjoy time with their families. Don’t worry, the pups will still be well cared for. No daycare or daystays for Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
