Foster Feature 💕

Welcome our newest foster dog, Loki! Thank you for letting us pull this handsome boy. He previously lived with an elderly woman who used her cane as punishment and he retaliated with a bite. We are so thankful to provide a safe place for him and he has already made several new friends 🐾

Sweet Remi has found a new friend in our senior foster dog Chloe ❤️ It makes me wonder if Chloe was ever a momma and this is mending a piece of her heart. Either way, it was instant friendship 🐾

Holiday’s are right around the corner! Westside Wags has four amazing foster dogs currently, if you’re looking for a way to make a difference in a life, we have created a holiday wish list that we will be adding to throughout the rest of the year!

We hope that all the dogs find homes by the new year but until they find their forever, we have done our best to create the most comfortable stay for them. Any item on our list is appreciated by us but mostly the dogs ❤️

Current Foster Wishes:
🎃 Chloe: Chloe is a treat connoisseur! She would love to sample every and all snacks! 🦴
🦃 Bessie: When Bessie isn’t playing with friends, you can find her obsessing with her favorite toys 🎾
🎄Tina: Alllll the long lasting things (chews or treat dispensers) that can help her with all that energy she has!🐾
🌟 Cinnamon: Cinny Minny is still learning to love life and let her walls down, all the extra treats and toys show her what being a dog is all about 💕

Wednesday Whiskers 🐈

Did you know we love kitty friends just as much as our doggy friends? Westside Wags is doing check ins this week with Roxy 🐾 Roxy’s doggie sister is a regular daycare pup with us and we are lucky enough to get to spoil Roxy too 💕

Foster Feature 💕

Meet Chloe, our old sweet soul ❤️ This girl has stolen our hearts completely and anyone would be lucky to have her in their family! She was pulled off a euthanasia list and I cannot believe her story could have ended there. She is an 8 year old Pittie who loves nothing more than to sniff and waddle around. She cannot hear, and this is my first experience with a dog without hearing, I promise it is not anymore difficult than caring for a dog who can! She comes when she is waved over, she is potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly and has all the love to give. She did have a mass removed from her but has healed wonderfully and is looking for her forever family!

Here is a little peek into the last month at Westside Wags! We have had happy tails, new foster dogs, endless play and too many treats to count 🦴🐾

We are currently out of power but all the dogs are safe and happy! We hope all of our furry friends are staying safe as this storm passes. We prepped frozen large carrots and kongs in preparation for a distraction while the loud winds pass. Give your dog an extra treat from Westside Wags tonight ❤️

Boarding 🏠

Love was in the air here at Westside Wags this past weekend 💕 Bruno (left, a long time member of the Wags crew) and Maddy (right, her first time staying with us) had instant chemistry. It truly was love at first sight and they spent the weekend following each other around, and he even got to meet her mom!

We are honored to be Goose’s first boarding experience! This little guy is with us for the week and we are taking some extra time to work on some basic commands during his stay, he is already a superstar ⭐️
