SOS EMERGENCY INTAKE!
As rescuers we often bear the heavy burden of being the deciding factor in whether or not an animal dies or has a chance at life. Today, we were faced with this decision, yet again. Say ‘no’ and he dies, or say ‘yes’ and give him a fighting chance. Tonight, we said ‘yes’ and it’s after 9pm and I’m headed to the emergency vet with another 3-week-old piglet that made a decision to leap from a semi truck. He is in rough shape, he’s lethargic, can barely stand, and refuses to eat. If you believe that this piglet deserves a chance at life, PLEASE make a donation towards his emergency medical care. I could come online everyday and cry, beg and plead for funds but I won’t because I know the work we do speaks for itself and those that believe in our mission and have the ability to assist, will jump in anytime they can to help keep these bills covered. If you can’t donate then please like, share, and comment. There’s just a very small team of us that work literally day and night on behalf of the farm animals in our community and without our help, this baby, along with all the other truck jumpers we’ve taken in, would have had absolutely no chance. Please help Tater.
