🐾 Aussiedoodle Special Adoption - Behavioral 🐾
Ryder is an absolutely gorgeous Aussiedoodle who was surrendered by his owner. Due to a lack of time, they were unable to complete the training he needs or give him the attention he deserves, after obtaining him from a breeder.
Ryder is housetrained and crate trained, very loving and affectionate when he is not in a kennel. Inside a kennel is unfortunately another matter. He is defensive of his space and can be somewhat of a resource guarder when it comes to food. It is not uncommon for dogs to be protective of their space, particularly when they are in a strange environment with new people. They are so confused. However, because of his idiosyncrasies, we would recommend an adopter familiar with the breed, personality and special grooming requirements. A home with older children, or no children, would probably be ideal for Ryder.
