Our 4th demo horse-and-rider pair is…
Kamden Perno and Montenegro!
Much like that of our Masterclass presenter, Brett Parbey, Kamden has competed in an array of disciplines!
At the age of seven, Kamden attended a summer Horse Camp advertised by his elementary school, and the rest is history. Shortly after, he began taking lessons and showing locally in the Hunters, followed by Eventing, which introduced him to Dressage. He began training exclusively Dressage, achieving his USDF Bronze and Silver Medals, where his love of horses and Dressage continued to grow. It became clear this was his passion and the path he wanted in life. He went on to work at various farms as a working student, before returning home to start a small local training and sales operation in Western New York. His desire to grow in knowledge led him back to Jewel Court Stud, owned and operated by longtime friend and mentor Eliane Cordia van Reesema, where he once worked as a working student, and now as a rider. Kamden is eager to continue learning and producing happy, well-rounded horses, in body and mind to achieve their highest potential.
Kamden’s goal for the Jewel Court Stud USA Dressage at Devon Masterclass with Brett Parbery is to, “Work on horse and rider partnership and relaxation in a high-pressure setting.”
“I think it’s important to remind ourselves of the love of horses that started us out in the first place. Let it be the guide. When we put the horse first, we have already won.” - Kamden Perno
There is only one demo rider left to announce! Who do you think it will be…?
