Please remember we might not get snow in the valley but we do get some chilling mornings and nights. If you see your neighbors dogs out with fluffy coats or even some bigger short haired dogs like mastiffs unless they are shivering and super skinny they more than likely want to be outside currently. No need to call 911. Use your best judgment much like when its 120°+ in the summer. If you see a doggie door more than likely the dog chose to be outside.

We know the school year is starting again at the end of July and though it didnt seem long enough that kiddos were just let out we would like to remind you that we too have kids and so start times on select weeks will be pushed back to between 8:00-8:30am and last appointments will be taken between 11-12 if possible on those weeks to allow time for drop offs and pick ups from school. We have also been testing out new schedule times and days this summer that have seemed to help. So when the temperatures are excessively hot before 11am we will be shutting down around 10am than reopening to finish appointments for that day between 5-6pm (these days are last min as weather changes daily) and also we have found that having a couple Saturdays a month open has also benefited Clients so we will continue to implement this practice going forward and having it available to clients for an additional fee of 25$ added to all normal service price. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask :)

Good afternoon followers and contributors. I hope your making it through this heat ok. Just a couple of reminders going into the last couple of weeks of summer.

1. These hot temperatures make my work hours shorter for the safety of your pets. Which in results makes for later dates for availability. So bare with me on getting you scheduled as you will be added to a cancelation list for a earlier date.

2. With the coming of the new school year schedule times will change to reflect my kids school schedule on some weeks. There may be a later start time and a earlier finish time.

New information from published vets about ear hair plucking and why you might be seeing more groomers just Trimming ear hair rather than pulling it. Kountry Klips Moblie grooming has not been actively plucking ears for years now and do not offer it unless "Absolutely" necessary ie Matting deep down in the ear canal. Otherwise we do refer for vets to examine the ears if infections are suspected. That way Vets can collect samples to test for either bacterial infection or infected yest in the ear and prescribe the correct course of action to help heal your pet's ear quickly.

July 4th is 4 days from today. Now is the time to start preparing your pets. If they are not already microchipped please look into having that done. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control has very affordable options, and so does the Arizona Humane Society.
Please have your pets wear ID tags with current information. Please make sure that the gates are secured and locked. Please make sure your pets are secured inside your homes. If they need medication to help them remain calm now is the time to get those prescriptions filled. THEIR LIVES ARE COUNTING ON YOU!!

Don't forget. These small reminders for next week. Some people start shooting fireworks off on the 2nd and can go well into the night of the 5th. Be mindful please.

Hey followers 4th of July is just a few days away don't forget to speak to your vet about medication to help your pets with the fireworks. And keep them inside with the TV on something without fire works. So it can help drown out the popping. 4th of July and New years are the highest lost dog nights of the year. Don't let your pets out after dark off a Leash. Pick food and water up an hr before dark and let them go potty. That way they don't have to go potty as often.
