I have thought about this and I have decided to retire after 35 years of breeding, first Doberman Pinschers, then importing Boxers from some of the finest working lines in Hungary, The Netherlands, Italy and Argentina… I went on to breeding Pugs in 2009, I continued importing Pugs some of the finest lines from Russia. Breeding dogs has been my passion and lifelong dream. It has been some of my highest highs and my lowest lows, a bittersweet journey, to say the least. In the past 15 years of breeding Pugs, I am happy to say that my lines have only produced 5 puppies that had genetic/congenital issues that caused disability or death before the age of 3 years old, and while that sounds terrible, it is actually a very good record. One of my own was included in that 5, I lost my beloved JoJo to a seizure on March 18th, 2024. Please know that if you are one of those 5, my heart goes out to you and I think about those pups that I bottle fed, tube fed and lost sleep over. In my 35 years of breeding I have met some of the most wonderful people, but I am especially proud to have gotten to meet and welcome you all into the KayJo Pug family. I am grateful for all of you!
These are my last puppies right now. All are doing well and when they are weaned, my dogs and I will be officially retired.
My page will stay open and I welcome you all to post pictures of your Pugs!
