These two orange girls (Phidippus regius) are still looking for homes! They've got great personalities and are very hand friendly. If you'd like to give a home to one of these curious little ones let me know! I also have enclosures and supplies available.

An appreciation post for the boys! I have the male jumping spiders much longer than I do the females. Some even long enough for them to mature before being adopted. Why is this? Since I mostly work with Phidippus regius, the males aren't as "desirable" in the hobby. Mostly due to not having such an array of colors like the females do. So what are the pros of male jumping spiders compared to females? Many people note that male jumping spiders tend to be more "friendly" than the females. Another thing some keepers prefer males for is that they do not lay eggs, meaning your spider is not hiding away for long periods of time. Here are three male Phidippus regius I got photos of today, and they are looking for homes!

This Saturday I will be attending the Ravenswood Reptile Rally hosted by my good friend & owner of SpiderSpell Emporium! This is a small event that will have activities for the kids, 3d prints, animal educators, and a few vendors of exotic pets and supplies. If you're in the area or willing to make the trip, this event will be great for the family. I will be there with jumping spiders & jumping spider enclosures, along with other goodies on my table.

Trying to get more photos out since I have a lot of these little ones needing homes still. New clutches are on the way too! Phidippus princeps pairing today! I am hoping to have success with these two. This species is small but packed with personality. Toffee and Tiny. Toffee didn't know what to think of him at first, but Tiny must have made a good impression. Good job Tiny!

We are super excited to be back in Huntington on Sunday, January 26th to bring you WV's largest buy/sell/trade/learn exotic pet event!
