Sophie is a sweet girl, however when the grooming process begins, Sophie goes into fight or flight. Sophie has wonderful Pawrents that truly understand humanity over vanity. This morning Memphis and Jen joined @thedoglistener and over 100 dogs for a pack walk. Dixie and Maggie did really good handling all the stimulation and energy...they have both come so far since we've been working with Emily. Jumbo was a Jumbo groom! Jumbo is a little fearful of new things and he has a little stranger danger so as soon as mom dropped him off for his appointment, Jen took him for a walk so they could build some trust. We had to really take our time, be flexible and get creative throughout the grooming session to ensure a positive experience for Jumbo. Jumbo was a good boy and we are so proud of him. Welcoming him to our Groom Room was an absolute pleasure. In fact, when his family picked him up, Jen actually got a little teary-eyed when it was time to say goodbye.
