As a 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to help end the euthanasia of companion animals in Wyoming through collaboration, education, and compassion. We provide quality care to dogs and cats that have been abandoned, surrendered or lost. We collaborate with other shelters and rescues to get animals adopted. We educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering. If someone is force

We do 5-7 large loads of laundry 7 days a week. Look at these cute kitten piles. Fresh bedding reduces the chances of illness and keeps these babies comfortable until they find their forever home.

This dog is NOT at the shelter -
Approximate age 6-8 yrs., female, Blue Heeler (maybe)
Found 19 miles West of Gillette 11-19-24 on Kingsbury exit off ramp. This dog was thirsty and hungry when found but otherwise appeared in good condition. This dog has an excellent disposition, appears to have mothered many pups, and seems to be tolerant of other animals including cats. She had no collar when found and has no chip. If anyone has any information on this dog, is looking for this dog, or would like to provide a good home for this really nice dog, please call Kim Maycock at 307-660-0169.

✨THESE DOGS ARE NOT IN THE SHELTER✨

Meet Bella & Max! They're almost 2 years old and very sweet. They are looking for a new home, they love kids and other animals. They're outside dogs, Max likes to push his boundaries with his perimeter, so he could use some work on that. Bella more so stays in her perimeter.

We are THANKFUL for our ADOPTERS!!!

Bolt and our golden retriever Beans are best buddies and play every day! He does great off and on leash on our hikes and fetching and has learned so much already! We are working through some issues with him nipping our older heeler mix when he gets excited and tries to herd him (mostly when they’re running). He is such a little snuggler and loves to be on his people! He is also a notorious sock thief. He even tried to steal them off our feet. He is also obsessed with snow and eating ice cubes out of the freezer.

Ella, aka Elvira, has settled in nicely. 🥰 She has claimed the guest bed as hers...I think because she has 2 windows to keep watch on the yard.
We just love her & she is such a snuggler.

We are so thankful and grateful for our adopters!

"Good morning! She is settling in amazing. She is a completely different puppy then how she was when I first met her. She comes up and snuggles with me. We play a lot and she spent all of yesterday playing with our dogs so she is doing amazing and she is loving the treats. She's warming up to my brother-in-law and my nephew which is really big! I'm very happy."
