Our August trial premium is now available! Check our club website ( www.fourseasonsagility.com ) or the NADAC trial calendar for your copy.
Join us to help us celebrate our 20th Anniversary with the wonderful Judge Ron Young!
One item that didn't make it into the premium is that we will having another team competition! Three dogs per team, with a prize for the team with the most qualifying points accumulated in the Saturday runs. Entry fee is $30 per team, with all proceeds donated to the Pet Emergency Fund. You have until the end of the day Friday of the trial to enter your team, but we wanted to give you a heads-up so you can start finding team members.
(We will repeat the competition at our October trial as well, which is when we'll hold our Giveback Raffle for the Pet Emergency Fund.)

Our primary purpose is to conduct NADAC agility trials so we can all have FUN FUN FUN with our dogs! We also occasionally host agility seminars and fun runs,

Our April trial will be here before you know it! We are planning on celebrating the eclipse, which is happening on Monday the 8th!

Please get your entries in early if you can- we can always take move-ups and adjustments prior to the trial.

If you are planning on camping at Premier Dog Sports & Event Center, LLC, please let us know asap. If you are traveling in for our trial and haven't gotten your hotel reservations yet, we suggest doing so asap- because we are in an area of perfect eclipse viewing, lodging is hard to find!

What a fantastic weekend we just had! Thanks to everyone who came to our February NADAC trial- we had a blast! So much fun in and out of the ring- it is really heartwarming to hear all the cheering and encouragement, no matter if the run was great, good, or not so good. It’s all about having a great time with our best pups and that truly on display at this trial.

Start 2024 with some agility fun with your pups and some pretty fun people at a great facility!
(you can hand deliver entries to Lynn at classes if you don't want to mail or email them. If emailing, scans of your entry are preferred over photos of the entry.)

As many of you have probably read, a judge was sent to the hospital after being bit multiple times at a recent agility trial. The details of this incident don’t need to be related again, except to say that the judge was not interacting with this dog in any way- he was just a guy standing in the ring.
This is scary and it does seem that the amount of concerning dogs has increased over the years, (and not just in agility). As someone who puts on several trials a year, this is always a big concern. It is a liability and we don’t want to be “one of those trials”. It is not easy for show officials to have to step up to protect exhibitors- we rely on handlers being aware and responsible for their dog’s behavior and assessing whether coming to a trial with their dog would put other people and/or dogs at risk.
If you have a dog who has the potential to harm people or other dogs, I ask that you take the responsibility and not put it on show officials, who are your friends. We are lucky to have other options like VT runs and private rentals so everyone can still play. People and dogs should feel safe when they spend money to play at trials. Thank you.

Congratulations to everyone on a fantastic Four Seasons Agility Club NADAC trial weekend! What a great kick off to our summer trials! Blue skies, temps warm but not terribly hot, green grass, not too much in the way of bugs and birds... thank you Sandy Corrie and Jim Styn for hosting our trial in the lovely backyard ring at Akron Animal Hospital. Nancy Biller is in charge of weather requests from now on!

Thanks to Judge Karen Hough for challenging and fun courses; our main course builders Mike Wolff, John Cicchetti and Lynn Broderick; to all our club members for keeping things moving and creating a wonderfully supportive and cheerful atmosphere in which to have fun with our dogs; and for all the volunteers who chipped in to ring crew, gate, leash run, time/scribe, and move all those tunnel bags- your help is much appreciated.

Congratulations to all who qualified, titled, achieved "PQ's" (personal qualifying goals), and to those who took a deep breath and stepped into the ring for the first time! Every run with our best canine partners is a gift, wheter everything goes well or it doesn't, and each moment cherished as an amazing part of our wonderful bond with our pups. It was really wonderful to see some of our senior and semi-retired dogs take a turn in the ring too- thanks to NADAC for giving us an opportunity to keep our pups running even as they start to step aside for new teams.

One of the most wonderful aspects of Four Seasons Agility Club trials is the amazing support and encouragement that you see for every team that steps to the line; whether an old friend or classmate, or someone new or from out of town. Four Seasons 2nd Annual February Trial at PDS:
On this very chilly weekend Supervising Judge Ron Young made it in from North Carolina to help our hardworking up and coming SP2 Judge Lynn Broderick excel in her new adventure. Thank you Ron for making the trip into our polar vortex so we could have some fun with our pups!

What a terrific turn out we had, with our biggest trial yet- a total of 913 runs, including some first time NADAC participants who had a great time!

Thank you to all who worked hard to make this trial happen- it would not be possible without your help. And thanks so much to Shelly and Don Gordon for the awesome trial site!

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next NADAC trial on April 7-9 at Premier Dog Sports, for which we are planning some Easter surprises for dogs and handlers! The trial premium is posted at our Four Seasons website and on the NADAC website as well.
