Meet Bolt, a lively 2-year-old pup who's always ready for action! From our volunteer observations, this energetic boy seems to enjoy rough and rowdy play with other dogs. Bolt appears to have a particular fondness for chasing balls and running around the yard. He might benefit from a home that can help him channel his enthusiasm and provide plenty of exercise. Playgroup Assessment

11/16: Dog was vocal at barrier having alot of pent up energy coming into catchpen. Was fast with his approaches running to interact with others leading to tense situations. Would mount others but was steerable with tools and would do well with tolerant dogs that can steer his energy. Early PG 1 Rough and Rowdy

Shelter Observations

11/15: Dog was excited to be outside, play bowing with the other dog in the yard next over. Adored playing with the large plastic ball, chasing and knocking it around. Ran around on his own most of the time, though he enjoyed being ran with as well.

11/20: During the observation, Bolt was excitd to be outside of the kennel, likes treats, and had a good posture for pictures

My foster mom said she wanted everyone to know I completed training this week!!! I came out of Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center a little crabby but I am officially the happiest dog now 🦋

But what I really want to tell you guys is that my foster mom made me listen to 80’s music and talked really loud the whole time! 😂

HER FOSTER NEVER SHOWED UP 🥹

Meet Pebbles, a sweet 3-year-old lady with a gentle soul. From our volunteer observations, Pebbles tends to be a bit timid at first but warms up as she gets comfortable. She often fits in well with other calm and gentle dogs, gradually becoming more social as she settles in. Pebbles usually enjoys a laid-back atmosphere where she can relax and socialize at her own pace. Come meet Pebbles today!

Poor Lego isn’t new to the shelter he probably looks familiar. We don’t know why but he’s back 😭. This sweet boy is again looking for a true hero. He was dog tested and is DOG friendly. Can anyone please offer to foster or adopt and save this adorable boys life. The right way this time. Please keep advocating for this boy.

I went and saw handsome BRUCE this morning. He was so happy to see what could likely be his last visitor.

He look sooooo cute in his "suit and tie!"

I cannot say enough how great a boy is! Bruce is WORTH THE SAVE.

He is ADORABLE. 😍

Bruce has been in the shelter several months so he has some pent up energy that will likely lessen some with time to decompress.

He is very eager for acceptance. Bruce is highly treat and toy motivated and very willing to learn. He takes treats gently and is a total sweetheart!

He loves his toys and belly rubs!!

I could see Bruce being a great "go partner"!
Want to go for a run? Bruce is there.
Want to go for a ride? Bruce is your guy!
Want to sit on the couch and chill? If you're rubbing his belly, he's there!!!

Shelter staff says Bruce does well with dogs who have matched energy. Very playful, similar size, passive etc

No known history with cats.

Just going off brief interaction, I do think Bruce would likely do best with older or experienced kids as he has a heavy bottom that gets going when he gets super wound up and excited.
