J.A.N Hiding Hares Rabbitry, Little Lionhead and Little Loppies Nursery's

J.A.N Hiding Hares Rabbitry, Little Lionhead and Little Loppies Nursery's We currently raise Pedigreed BEW/VM Holland Lops and BEW Lionheads in Burnet TX I have the right to refuse the sale of any rabbit to anyone. Just COMMUNICATE).

OUR SALES POLICY (This goes for ALL 3 Rabbitry's here at JAN's!)

HOLDING: I will hold a bunny/bunnies for 1 week for a 50% non-refundable deposit which will go towards the final sales price, however, if by chance you stop responding to texts or don't notify me you need more time before the 1 week, or discussed pickup day, is up I will put your bunny back up for sale and you will have forfeited th

e deposit. Rabbits will not leave my care until they are 8-10 weeks old, depending on the size/breed of the picked rabbit. If you decide on which bunny you want before they are ready to go I'll be happy to reserve it for you for a 50% non-refundable deposit and hold it up until 1 week passed time for them to leave. If you decide you want a different bunny later on before picking up the previously picked out one you might be out of luck as rabbits tend to sell out fast, if I have another you are welcome to look at pics and decide on the new one or the previous one, or if you decide to wait for an upcoming litter, that's fine too (I will transfer your deposit to another rabbit if you decide on a new one)

PRICE: My bunnies' prices range from $0-$130 depending on breed, color, s*x, and show quality (All rabbits will be sold with a pedigree/breeding chart (For Doe's) unless I'm told otherwise). I can't guarantee a rabbit will be show quality or Breedable! REFUNDS: There are no refunds for a rabbit once you take them home. If you can't care for the bunny I'll be happy to take them back but there is no refund in money. If the rabbit has health issues after leaving my care I will be happy to give you my personal opinion/medical advice (I'm by no means a vet, so inaccurate advice may be given by mistake) but no refund will be given as I'm always 100% certain the rabbit is in perfect health before leaving my care. If it happens to be sick or I think isn't thriving as it should I will hold off on selling until I can determine perfect health. If the rabbit happens to pass while in my care I will be happy to present another bunny to replace it or if no other is available at that time you may have the first pick out of a future litter (Which will go towards your deposit on the passed one). I don't sell sick rabbits EVER. I do a full body checkup/clean every month on each of my rabbits and treat problems I come across immediately. I do not sell overly aggressive rabbits as they don't pose as great pets or breeders, especially around young kids. Rabbits may be a little skittish upon taking them home but once they adjust and figure out they have a safe home they should calm down. This goes for breeders as well! SEXING: I can normally tell the genders of any rabbit right after birth but I always go back and check each week until I'm 100% certain, sometimes I get a baby that confuses me until they reach 8 weeks to 6 months of age. If you happen to get the wrong s*x kit I will be happy to exchange it for the opposite s*x (of equal value, if you decide on a bun more expensive than the previous you'll need to provide the money as if the previous buns paid cash was the deposit of the new bun), if none are available you are welcome to what's remaining in an upcoming litter as others will get first pick

MEETING UP/PICK-UP: I will work with transport but you need to do your own research and find the best transport! It's also possible to meet up if you're in a direction I'll already be heading in. If you aren't then we can chat and see what we can do or you will have to come pick up the rabbit. If we decide to meet up (whether it be in a direction I'm already going or making a special trip) and you are running late then PLEASE communicate. I will wait as long as I can pass the scheduled time (15-30 Min) and then I will leave, especially if I don't hear from you within that time frame! (It's ok to message that you're actually not interested or can't have a rabbit! If I leave I will not drive back later to meet again and you will have to drive the rest of the way to where I am within the same day or come to the Barn another day. You only get 1-3 chances to meet up or show up at the barn before I place your rabbit back up for sale and you would have forfeited the deposit. If we decide to meet up halfway or something when I'm not already heading that direction I will be asking for a gas fee that will be added onto the price of your rabbit, we will not drive further than 1 1/2 hours. TRAVEL: Please bring a travel cage or box to take your rabbit home in as one will NOT be given to you! Please have the bottom of the cage/box packed with timothy hay and bring a bowl of water depending on how far you have to drive back home! If you need a baggy of transition food then please let me know before the scheduled pick-up day! All of my rabbits are raised on water bottles but can easily transition to a bowl if need be. PAYMENT: I ask for cash at the time of pickup (the other half of the 50% non-refundable deposit), most of the time I will be unable to make change so please bring the correct amount, the rabbit will NOT leave my care unless the full amount is given upon pick up. I am always happy to answer any questions you may have on rabbits, I started raising rabbits in 2016 and since then I've picked up a lot of information that I'm willing to share so don't be shy! Some if not all information is subject to change at any time unannounced so check back frequently, especially if you're looking to purchase a bunny! Thank you for checking out my page! It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce the closure of J.A.N's Rabbitry's (Hiding Hares Rabbitry, Little Loppies/Lionheads nursery) due to life and personal reasons. I hope to eventually open up once again in the future but for now I have to focus on me and my mental health. Abandoned dogs killed off my little herd in January and since then I haven't been in a mindset right enough or timing wasn't well enough to continue my Rabbitry's so fingers crossed in the future I can breed rabbits again in a more secure area πŸ’œ
