His name is Moses!
This little guy had a bath and is now peacefully falling asleep.
I don't bathe kittens often, but Moses has a special curiosity. He loves to swim and bathe with my kids in the tub, and it took me a while to realize he was jumping into the water on purpose.
A funny, amusing little guy!
Moses is not av@ilable. We are watching his growth, but due to his exceptional charisma, I would keep him for myself.

But his older brother is ready to go to a new home.

𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 is a deadly disease transmitted through the bites and saliva of infected animals, such as dogs, cats, foxes, raccoons, and bats.

𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝘾𝘼𝙏 𝙂𝙀𝙏 𝙄𝙏?

1. Bite from an infected animal
2. Scratches where infected saliva enters the wound.
3. Saliva on mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, nose) or broken skin.

𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙏𝙊 𝘿𝙊 𝘼𝙁𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙖 𝘽𝙄𝙏𝙀?

1. Wash the wound with soap and water for 15 minutes.
2. Disinfect with antiseptic (alcohol, iodine).
3. Seek medical help immediately

𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝘿𝙊 𝘿𝙊𝘾𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙎 𝘿𝙊?

1. Examine the wound and gather information about the bite.
2. Administer rabies vaccine on the day of the visit and follow the schedule (days 3, 7, 14, 28).
3. Rabies immunoglobulin (if needed).

𝙎𝙔𝙈𝙋𝙏𝙊𝙈𝙎

1. Early: Fever, headache, itching at the bite site.
2. Late: Anxiety, paralysis, seizures, hydrophobia, aggression, excessive saliva.

𝙄𝙈𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝘼𝙉𝙏

The incubation period for rabies lasts from several weeks to several months. If you are bitten by an animal, seek medical help immediately.
Once symptoms appear, the chances of survival are almost zero.

Vaccinate your pets and avoid contact with wild and stray animals.

It's always impressive, luxurious, unusual, and unforgettable.
Steven will judge my kitten, and I can't wait to hear his evaluation.
And there's more! Here, they always share a lot of useful information about cats, and there will also be educational sessions during the show.

This beauty is quite an unusual cat!
It's because she chooses beautiful birthdays for her kittens. She gave birth on April 4th (4.4.22), November 11th (11.11.22), and now a new date, March 3rd - 3.3.24)))
Even though her due date was on March 5th.
In short, we have another "lucky litter," 3 boys and 3 girls. Who needs happiness at home?

How do we bathe our cats?
In the stories, I attached all the links from Amazon. I hope this will be helpful.
Here are more details.

I love bathing them, and it happens about every other month, sometimes more often.

The first thing I do is apply degreasing Groomers Goop paste to the tail, belly, neck, and behind the ears. It's important to apply it to dry hair! I thoroughly spread out the paste on the tail so that almost every hair is covered with this paste.
Leave it on for about 5 minutes, keeping an eye on the pet to prevent licking.

Then rinse everything thoroughly with water.
After the paste, we use Groomers Goop Shampoo twice. It rinses off the paste the best.
Some people use dish soap for this—I don't know how it works, but it works. After GG, I like to use Yuup, and for white or mostly white cats, I use purple shampoo (Yuup or White on White). Don't forget to rinse the shampoo well after each application.

I don't always use conditioner; the hair gets greasy afterward. But I do apply cologne... to smell nice! There are many options on Amazon.

For drying, you can use a regular hairdryer, a pet dryer (compressor), or a special drying box for pets.
Check out the stories, I showed an example of what I use—it's not the most famous brand, but it works great.

This is because January 7th corresponds to the Julian calendar, while December 25th follows the Gregorian calendar used by most countries worldwide.

In my family, we celebrate on December 25th, and on January 7th, we extend greetings to all our relatives and friends from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Georgia.

What is Christmas to me? It's the most important holiday that reminds me that God is with me; He is always nearby!

Why is our cattery named Cat Paravel?
The name came very quickly. We wanted a unique name not associated with trendy prefixes like cool, VIP, and luxury and to minimize the chance of accidental duplicates.
Also, we wanted the cattery name to somehow connect to Narnia. Everyone in our family loves reading C.S. Lewis, and, of course, "The Chronicles of Narnia" is our favorite book. Whoever has read remembers the beautiful castle of Cair Paravel, and my daughter quickly came up with Cat Paravel... and everyone liked it!

In the photo, the handsome Hades is available and already eager for his new home and awaits the arrival of his mom.

Christmas and New Year are just around the corner! Everyone is getting ready for the holidays, planning where to celebrate, and deciding on vacation destinations, decorating your home outside and inside..

And,of course, we don't forget about the safety of our pets. It's a time of heightened attention to them because besides the beautiful decorations and lights, there are many dangers and stresses around.

The CHRISTMAS TREE 🎄 should be securely anchored, as cats love to climb it, especially on the top. If you notice your pet eating or chewing o tree or toys, remove either the tree or the animal. So never leave them alone with it, or the celebration might end with a trip to the emergency vet.

The LIGHTS 🌟and especially their wires ⚡️should be completely inaccessible.

GUESTS 🕺💃 can be stressful for your cat. Moreover, they might accidentally let your pet out. So it's cold outside, and various animals like foxes, raccoons, and coyotes roam.

FIREWORKS and sparklers🎇🎆 may be beautiful, but your pet doesn't understand that beauty.. the sound may be too much for them, and they get scared! 🧨We can't predict how your pet will react to stress. It might run and knock everything in its path or hide under the couch for 3 days without eating or drinking and potentially getting sick.

Therefore, minimize stress for your pet. You can use a FELIWAY diffuser a week before guests arrive; it's a calming product.

The best thing during these days is to keep them in a separate room. If that's not possible, closely monitor your pets.

Take care of yourself and your pets!

Why I breed MaineC***s ( MCO)?...

Dream! Dreams come true!

Many, many years ago, I dreamt of getting a cat of a well-known breed (I won't say which one; maybe I'll reveal this secret someday). Let's call this breed "my dream" for now!

Following my dream, I attended a cat show, thinking that I would finally find the right breeders. Ask them everything about the breed, and hold the right cat in my arms!

And there it was, I saw him, My Dream! I rushed over to him, but he hissed at everyone, yelled like a demon, and even attacked his owner. Wow! Maybe his owner always scolds him, mistreats him, and that's why he's so stressed. I thought.

I saw another one! Again, I approached My Dream! But he was unfriendly too! His owner quickly shielded him from prying eyes, but he continued to howl. So, I went to 5 other dream cats, and they were all unfriendly and angry. I realized it wasn't about the owner... it was the breed characteristics.

I walked around in disappointment, looking at cats, realizing that I didn't want a cat like that. Then, I saw a massive furball lying on top of a cage without a leash. And that furball gave me a fierce look that scared me. I asked, "Who are you?" He responded in the gentle voice of a kitten, "Meow!" and started kneading biscuits. He melted my heart.

It was love at first sight! His owner approached and told me something about Maine C***s, but I remembered one thing: Maine C***s have angry look but a soft heart, so I wanted one for myself. I always wonder, who was that cat, and which cattery did he come from? The cat who changed my life...

In the next post, I'll tell you how I made my way towards my new dream.

They look at the falling snow so long and carefully, someone tries to play with it, someone just looks and thinks about something... or dreams... probably about how they will run through this snow in pursuit of a mouse..

My beautiful girl with a gentle voice that melts any heart. I left her for myself, for further work in the cattery, but still decided to give her a chance to live with a new owner. DANGEROUS (POISONOUS)PLANTS FOR CATS .
