Meet Ariel, the Freedom Area Middle School Therapy Dog! She’s as sweet as can be and adores her work. Recently, Ariel visited Windrose Animal Hospital Urgent Care with a painful tummy ache. The incredible team at Windrose discovered the cause: Ariel had swallowed a rock, which was lodged in her intestines! This was a serious emergency that required immediate surgery. Thanks to Ariel’s devoted caregivers and the swift response from the Windrose doctors and staff, she was quickly transferred to an emergency hospital to get the care she needed.
Now on the mend, Ariel is back under the watchful eye of Windrose for her follow-up care to help her make a full recovery. We’re so grateful for the quick actions of her care team and doctors. Hang in there, Ariel—the seaweed will be greener once you’re fully healed!
