Nola the Mini Pig

Nola is a Miniature Juliana pig. She lives with us inside our home in Pittsburgh, PA. She is a precious indoor pig who loves to snuggle and eat. Phew rough day.

I'm Nola and I'm a Miniature Juliana Pig. I'm not a "Potbelly" pig, but I have nothing against them, they are my cousins. I was born on May 1, 2012 in Florida. My mom and dad (Bit and Blue) are doing well. I'm pretty much full grown now and weigh about 85lbs, but I'm not really watching my weight. A typical day for me is to wake up Chris at 5am by biting his ankles so that he feeds me my pellets a

nd vitamin. I'll throw that down into my little belly and then go back to sleep. I'll lay on the couch all day if I can. If it's nice outside I will root up my entire yard for delicious grubs and root. I need my nutrients. I know when it's 5:00 because that means it's time to eat. Lauren usually feeds me. I'm too full and lazy after dinner so I politely nudge their legs to pig me up so that I can rest in a "pig pile" on the couch. No, I don't do my business in the house, that's gross. I politely stand at the door and let out a few "moos" until Chris or Lauren let me out. I will hold it if it's snowing unless they shovel me a path. I hate the cold! I'll pretty much post interesting times in my busy life, but feel free to ask me any pig questions.
