We have two horses that are looking for their forever home!
Located in south butler PA

•Rio- Registered APHA 4 yo mare. She stands at 14.3H, and one of the sweetest horses that we have ever rescued. We rescued her from Oklahoma in July and she had whip marks, bite marks and her spirit was crushed. She quickly became attached to Klyde and I. If you whistle she will nicker and run over to you. She was green broke when we got her, she never tried to rear, buck or bolt. She has no vices. She would do well with a advanced beginner (she just needs miles still) and a small adult or kid. She is smaller framed and dainty. She hangs out with our senior herd due to her being low on the pecking order. She stands for the farrier/vet. Price reduced!

•Chance- 15 yo Tattooed standardbred. He stands at 15.2H and was rescued from mid PA KP. He was with the Amish and is broke to ride and drive. He is quiet in the harness and in tack. He would make a great babysitter horse, sweet and anyone can ride. He is still gaining muscle but is ready for his forever home. No vices, no bad habits. Stands on cross ties, loads fine, stands for farrier/vet/dentist. UTD on teeth, feet.

Chaos was rescued on 04/27 from
Mid-Pa kill pen.🌻

My name is: Chaos❤️
My nickname: Big butt, mister sass
My breed is: American Saddlebred
My age is: using teeth as a guide - approximately 14
My favorite human food is: soaked Alfa cubes and peppermint nibblers
My biggest fear is: going back to the kill pen
My favorite thing to do: graze and check out the mares (female horses)
My favorite toy: is my sidekick Pow-Wow
What I hate most: Cicero (17.2 saddlebred gelding) when the mares are around!
Where do I sleep? Stall, pasture, run-in just depends on the day
Do I love car (trailer) rides? Yup-Hauls like a gentleman
Do I snore? No but I sure do nicker a lot when pow-wow isn’t around!

Mornings at Underdog Acres! Bianca is definitely coming out of her shell. Her aggression towards people has been slowly disappearing. We are still working on the halter process, but she is to the point I can groom her and touch her head without her lunging at me. She still has a long way to go but I’m happy with her progress! ❤️🌻🐴

Let’s give a big welcome to our three newest ladies! The paint (Zelda) is a 16yo registered mare, who is broke to ride western. The buckskin (Bianca) is a 8yo mare who isn’t even halter broke. The baby is a
8-10 month Saddlebred filly. We ate super excited to see how these three ladies will turn out!
