A very late post for you but as we settle in for the night I’d like to offer a last minute set of tips & reminders for my pet parents in the path of hurricane Helene.🐾

If you haven’t already, please bring your pets inside. If you wouldn’t want to be out in this, they don’t either.

Set up a safe space for your pets, weather that be a bed, kennel, room etc.. make sure they know they are safe.

Remember to remain calm. Your pets can pick up on your anxiety or stress & may feel upset as well & cause additional distress. Provide them with love & reassurance. Even an enrichment activity will do! Lick mat, puzzle, game etc..

Make sure you have collars, leashes, harnesses easily accessible in the event of distress. Make sure they have ID tags & if they do not, you can write information (name, phone number, address) on a piece of paper & surround it with tape attached to any of their outside gear.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, please do not leave your pets behind. They are just as scared as you. Even if you have to leave in a hurry, take them with you.

If you do not feel safe, please seek a pet friendly safe shelter around you.

If you do not feel safe in your current structure, Rigby’s in Warner Robins is providing a safe storm shelter. Pets are welcome.

‼️STORM SHELTER UPDATE‼️
Rigby's Entertainment Complex will be open as a Storm Shelter overnight. We welcome all who need a safe place to wait out Helene. We will be open for all family members, including your fur babies. Please bring your own pillows/blankets/comfort items to make your stay as cozy as possible.
To recap:
- Rigby's is available as an overnight storm shelter during Helene on Thursday, 09/26
- Pets are welcome, please bring a crate if they could be aggressive or are afraid of storms - we do not want them to run off if there is thunder.
- Please bring your own pillow/blankets/comfort items if you plan to settle in.
- Warner Robins Police Department is aware of the shelter location.
Please don't wait until it gets too bad to seek shelter! We are open and available now!

Happy Friday everyone!! I hope everyone had a great week! I have updated my conditions again.. this includes

$30 non refundable deposit for bookings of 1-3 days bookings for new clients that goes towards your total cost at end of services. 4 days or longer bookings the deposit will be $50. If you would like to book at once with separate dates they will require separate deposits. I accept cashapp/venmo/paypal or cash/checks.
Prices are based on number of pets and how many drop ins are needed per day. I normally do morning and night but can accommodate for more drop ins.

I must meet with your pets to make sure I am comfortable with them and them with me 2 weeks prior. If I am not comfortable with it, you will be refunded your deposit.
If needed we can do a trial run for a day at a reduced cost prior to your booking.

I Need a contact number, and an emergency contact if you plan to be out of state.
Detailed list of feeding/medicine schedule for day/night of each pet.
Enough food/medicine to last for the duration of your booking dates. If I have to get it during sitting there is an extra $10 gas fee plus cost of food.
If you don't have a fenced yard dogs will be walked on a leash. If a cat gets out of the house that's an indoor only, I will do everything I can to locate it.
I prefer you to have cameras within the home. If a pet gets injured/distressed while your away you can let me know so I can get to them right away. Cameras aren't a requirement but are helpful to both.
If you need references please let me know I can provide you with that.
I provide 2 drop ins per day pet sitting for your animals so they are comfortable staying in their own environment. If you require a 3rd visit a day there will be an extra charge.

Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Small Bird, small pets (sorry, no snakes)
Please make sure to let me know ahead of time if your dog is a digger, runner, food aggressive or people aggressive etc. I must know ahead of time. Let me know if your pet has any allergies.
I prefer the pets to have a collar with a tag. Up to date Rabies Vaccination is required. For the safety of other pets I pet sit for, If your dog is experiencing signs of parvo, I will be unable to begin services.
I have experience with blind/deaf dogs and special needs dogs & cats.
