It was a fantastic, educational weekend at the Mary D’Arcy clinic! I had a great time riding Rhoda and Max. Mary gave me some great homework for both of them to kickstart our winter season. 💪💪 BET team members Pearman, Zoe and Michelle all rode great and learned a lot. Zoe rode my best boy Cheeks, since her horse had an untimely abscess. It’s always fun to watch him do his thing 💜 I always love getting to watch my students ride with other trainers that I trust. This sport is such a team effort and I love our team!
Thanks to all of the great volunteer and participants that kept the clinic running smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Next up: Texas Rose schooling horse trials! I’m already cold just thinking about it 🥶

Max and I are hitting the ground running with all 6 feet after our break! 😜 We had a blast showing under the lights at Exel last weekend. Then we rode in a Holly Shepard clinic this week at Pinnacle Valley Farm to work on our show jumping! Next up is the Cindy Thaxton dressage clinic. 🤗🤗 Winter is a great time to dig into your homework and improve your skills for the upcoming season. I’m grateful to have a partner like Max that makes getting fit again fun and easy. 💕💕 #bradleyequestrian #backinthesaddle #countysaddlery
Wrapping up our first week here in Ocala!! 💕 Max knocked off the rust at his first show of the year and only second time running novice to finish 7th out of 23 starters in the Open Novice at Three Lakes. He is just so solid and gets better and better each outing! Then, Cheeks did his first cross country schooling of the year today and was an absolute star. He’s gearing up for Training at Rocking Horse next weekend. All of the jumping was in the BEAUTIFUL demo county saddle that I get to ride in while mine is being custom made. 💜💜😍😍

Getting a little poll action in for the Sunday night Bemer session. Cheeky is pretty obsessed with his #bemertherapy
And that’s a wrap!! This camp was the best way to spend the last few days of 2022! It was a show jumping day, so everyone worked on course work. My highlight of the day was the yoga session and seeing everyone splash around in the water in the field. Can’t wait for the next camp!! 💜💜 #bradleyequestrian

Day 2!! Today we learned about cross country, practiced course work, riding in the field for riders who hadn’t done much of that before, wrapping legs, and they had a special demo from @erin_n_wilson on working with young horses! It was a great day, full of smart, brave riding and fun with our horses. 💜💜
Day 1 of camp is a wrap!! The first day was all focused on dressage and how to prep for taking your horse to a show. All participants learned about perfecting 20 meter circles, pulling manes, and braiding. Then, they all learned a dressage test and practiced riding a test. They also did activities such as practicing loading, lunging and working their balance/strength on a barrel. It was a great day!! Excited for two more! 🤗💜

We start the littles on the Circle of FUN early at Bradley Equestrian!! 🦄🦄
I just love watching the point young rider’s journey where they can transition to focusing on more details in their riding. Lots of passionate young riders around here these days! 😍 We are lucky to be able to work out of such a nice, bright indoor during the gloomy winter months.
