Today, we celebrate the short-legged, big-hearted, and always-smiling Welsh Corgis! These adorable pups may be small, but they have a BIG personality. Here are some fun facts about Corgis:

🐾 There are two breeds of Welsh Corgis: Pembroke and Cardigan—the Pembroke has no tail, while the Cardigan does!
🐾 Corgis were originally bred for herding cattle—their low height helped them nip at heels and dodge kicks.
🐾 Legend has it that Corgis were the enchanted steeds of fairies—some even have markings called “fairy saddles” on their backs!

Springtime brings warmer weather, but it also marks the start of baby season for wildlife! From tiny bunnies in the grass to fledgling birds learning to fly, nature is buzzing with new life.

If you find a baby animal alone—whether it’s a bird, a fawn, or even a nest of baby rabbits—don’t panic! Many young animals are left unattended while their parents search for food. Mother rabbits, for example, only visit their nests a couple of times a day to avoid attracting predators. Unless the animal appears injured or in danger, it’s best to observe from a distance and let nature take its course.

Enjoy the season, and remember—look, but don’t touch! 🐰🐣🌿
