Y'all I'm loving all these baby mini donkeys. He's such a cutie & is so curious. ❤️ He's always going up to other farm friends & checking them out. Then he bounces away so happy. Momma is 33 inches & dad is 32-33. He is looking his forever farm & will be weaned just in time for a perfect Christmas present. 🎁 We are located in Central Texas, outside College Station. So soft, comfy, light weight, & stretchy!!! They are super soft & stretchy buttery fabric (92% polyester,8% spandex). They wash GREAT with no fading or shrinking!! I LOVE THE JOGGERS bc they fit all heights and they all have a drawstring waistband. ❤️

🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 THIS MORNING I WANT TO SHOUT TO THE WORLD... THANK YOU GOD!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Last night we had a scare in the field & it has happened to many, I know! Our baler caught fire!!! Thank God was watching over us, there was no wind, my hubby is meticulous about watching, & I am so thankful we have another baler because we still have thousands of acres to go.

Mark is perfectly fine and the big tractor is fine. The baler is not destroyed only some damage, he caught it fast. There was no wind so we were able to stop the pasture & HUGE windrows before it got out of hand. This is just one example of how dangerous farming can be. This is why we have "annoyed" our kids to pieces about watching things meticulously & knowing how to respond.

We have been blessed with beautiful hay but of course this has been the year of equipment acting up 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️! Don't even get me started on that. 😡😭🤬🤯🤢🤮😵‍💫

But if you have a moment to say a prayer for us & all farmers. Today I am extra thankful and ask for prays for the remainder of hay season & my hubby. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Well we took her off the market because we wanted to add her to our breeding stock but unfortunately do to cost of repairs on commercial farm equipment 😡😡😭😭 we are going to find her the perfect farm.

She is the tiniest, cutest little thing & is little over 4 months old. (Note: The 6 month old is a mini highland/lowline calf.) She was 15 inches at birth and 20 lbs. Mom is a micro Highdex that is 34 inches and Dad is the famous chondro+ Festus. He's only 37 inches. I rarely label calves as micro but it will be a shock if she matures over 36 inches.

Hey! Sorry I have been away so long! I just needed to step away during a trying season of life to reflect & regroup. I am not through this season quite yet 😕 but I definitely have gained perspectives, learned a lot, and see the sunshine ☀️ peaking in. My faith and family have been my biggest supporters and the reason I push through tough times. So with that, I am hopefully back and getting better about sharing new things on our farm & giving farm updates. So much has been going on & I truly can't wait to share!! Next Up, This tiny lil 33" (currently) CHRONDO+ Mini Highland x Micro Dexter bull is ready for his own set of ladies. He's almost 2 year old and as SWEET and TINY as they come. We had planned on keeping him for our future herd sire but we have 4 other chrondo+ bulls so it doesn't make sense to keep him. He's small framed and perfect for a chrondo herd sire. PLEASE ask questions about C+ if you are not aware of it. I'm happy to answer any questions and share information. A video is in the comments from this week. He has a fluffy coat in Winter but sheds down in Summer. He is one of those hard to find bulls and he is not dirt cheap. Pm with any questions. SHE IS NOT LOOKING FOR A NEW FARM!! She is a rescue that we are raising money in our 501c3 Sweet Magnolia Farms Lovestock for. Any $1 will help. I have the nonprofit donation link in comments and put my Venmo & PayPal. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Please let me know if you have any questions. Any help is appreciated so we can continue to accept rescues or surrendered livestock.

This is Hagar. ❤️ She is one of the newer rescues that has come to our farm. She was found on a property that was being sold. The owners of the property were elderly and had passed away several months prior to her being found. Her feet are the the worst condition I have ever seen on a donkey. Unfortunately with the twisting and roll over, she will need additional X-rays and probably have to be sedated over several visits to get these in better condition. It is impacting her mobility. When she arrived she could barely stand because of being so weak & thin. We have worked on getting her in a healthy enough place to be to survive the stress and dangers of sedation.

All our donkeys are named after people from the Bible. I try to pick names that mean something about each special donkey or their story. She is learning to trust us. We have her with some of our gentle girls so is enjoying that.

I posted previously about us forming a 501c3 to help raise funds for livestock rescues, surrendered livestock, etc. We have a few new additions to this part of our farm & one is in desperate need of more intense medical attention. I will post her pic & story in comments. Any amount will help. I also have Venmo, PayPal, & CashApp if those methods are preferred. All donations are tax deductible since we are a IRS approved 501c3. PLEASE feel free to share. ❤️

Also I want to make sure that it is VERY CLEAR! These animals are not the animals we sale. We have sold rescued puppies and kittens but I have not any livestock. If I EVER do 1) I would be 100% upfront with buyer 2) Animal would be 100% before leaving me & would not have long term care needs 3) I would have the animal long enough to know it's temperament & ensure it was a perfect fit. BUT if any of you know me, I get attached, especially when they need so much love and care so they just live their life out on our farm. This is 100% seperate from our farm animals we raise and breed.

Organizations should be able to raise funds for free and keep 100% of what they raise. This contribution helps make that possible. It helps cover the cost of security, support, web hosting, and maintenance so that this organization and its donors can be supported by real humans and best-in-class sof...

Meet Stanley! He's 75%Highland & 25% Charolis. He's polled, gentle, & proven. He's about 4 years old. He throws tiny calves full of fluff. We have lots of full mangalista piglets and young pigs. Several older barrows and gilts. Younger boars and gilts. These are priced to move.

Mangalista is the PRIME meat pig. It's the Kobe of pig world and has the most amazing meat. These are meat pigs, not pets. If you are looking to feed out a pig or interested in us feeding out one, please pm me.

😞 This handsome guy is a very small mini jack. He's almost 2 years old. He is a little shy at first but he warms up fast. We had planned to keep him but since we have his momma & aunt, we have made the tough decision to find him a new farm. This gorgeous standard white highland is looking for some new ladies. He throws smaller babies that have the most amazing coats. He is not a lovey dovey pet but is very respectful for people. We feed and walk right by him, never had an issue at all. He is an amazing proven bull. Only reason we are relocating him is because we have several silver bull hit sexual maturity so we have to thin down our bulls. I have added more pics of him. Please excuse how muddy he is. We have had so much rain and he loves the mud puddles. lol.

People have been begging for these babies for a while.... well here they are & ready for new farms. These are Pyredoodles- Standard Poodle & Great Pyrenees. These pups are the best of both breeds- extremely intelligent, loyal, and absolute cuddlers. These are BIG dogs and have been raised around all farm animals with the LGD mom.

REWORDING this part bc I want to ensure that I am being clear. So if you are looking for an LGD for a small homestead or an amazing family dog, these are some of the best. Why do I say small homestead, so these are wonderful with animals and also ward off any unwanted animals. No they are not going to kill a coyote but they will chase them and alert you. YES poodles are a hunting dog but they are tracking & retrieving IF TAUGHT! They do not hunt to attack or kill & do require extensive training to be tracking (hunting) dogs. But standard poodles are extremely intelligent and want to please so they can be taught easily. I have never lost an animal or poultry to one of these. Now my Great Pyrenees, that's another story. 😕 I have 2 that are amazing LGD but if a free range chicken hops into their area then dead chick it is. Just like any dog, pet or LGD, they must be taught expectations. Now with that being said, I would not use these as a LGD in a large free roam farm with lots of acreage and animals. This takes a very special and trained LGD to accurately do this job. Which many people make the mistake of buying a LGD breed and expecting them to do the job just naturally. This is why so many GP are surrendered bc they are not bred, raised, or trained efficiently. I am happy to answer any questions.

Sooooo much truth in this statement!!! 😝🤪 Cheaper definitely... no vet bills, no feed, you couldn't buy more animals 🥴 & definitely no heart ache until the silo got wet and cardboard fell apart!!! Who else had this set? ❤️ Do you remember what happened when you opened the barn doors?

This was our first large corporate event. Omgoodness the smiles, laughter, and happiness were absolutely incredible! We were lucky to be able to participate in the Pre-K petting zoo at Caldwell Elementary School. Getting to be involved in the community and get to be with kiddos again was amazing! We are so blessed to be in this amazing community!

I have A LOT of catching up to do on here!! Although April was tough we have had several good things to keep us going. The most exciting thing I want to share is that we have added an extension to our farm exclusively for our livestock rescue mission. We have opened up a 501c3 called Sweet Magnolia Farms Lovestock to help increase intake and care of neglected or unwanted livestock. This is something we have been doing on a smaller scale but now we want to expand our ability with the help of others who care. Every $1 helps. Please donate and share. We have a new rescue resident in need of some major medical assistance so these funds are critically needed now. Praying all the showers (tears) of April bring beautiful May flowers & smiles. Everyone always ask or say, "How do we do it?" or "You have the dream life!" I try to share as much positivity as possible but the truth about farming & raising animals is some days, or months, are extremely challenging. April was definitely one of those months on the farm. We have had loss, scares, vet bills, preventable mistakes made by us (this is the hardest), and a complete sense of how can I do another day. Losing animals or watching one in pain is heartbreaking. This definitely sets in depression or worry because these are our babies. The countless nights spent in the barn, in the truck by the fence, hourly checks, late nights in the fields, and days spent heartbroken over loss are things many people on the outside don't understand. Although I absolutely love farm life and know how very blessed we are, these tough times do impact our lives in profound ways. So when I am MIA on social media or slow to respond, please know it's usually trying to cope and rally back. So please send prayers that we have beautiful May flowers. ❤️
