Good-Evening Everyone...
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the possible closure of
Taylor's Quack Pack Waterfowl Rescue
My physical health has been declining, and I am struggling to continue operating the rescue.
I am afflicted with chronic pain, degenerative disc syndrome, osteoarthritis, and severe arthritis, which have required multiple spinal fusions in my lower back and neck.
Additionally, I have recently discovered that I suffered a minor heart attack within the last year or two.
Although I am deeply committed to rescue work and the welfare of my birds, I have come to realize that managing the rescue has become too physically demanding for my fragile health.
As a result, I must find new homes for approximately 90% of my ducks with caring and dedicated owners.

Hello Everyone…We hope you're staying warm and safe! At Taylor's Quack Pack Waterfowl Rescue, we're facing freezing temperatures 🥶 and expect worsening conditions later today, including snow and ice. However, temperatures will temporarily rise above freezing, giving us a glimmer of hope. Our animals are thriving, and their food intake has increased significantly, by approximately 100 pounds per week, mainly corn and scratch. Can you help us cover their care and feeding costs? Typically, we consume 300-350 pounds of feed weekly, and the additional expenses are considerable. The costs are so high that I'm considering closing the rescue, but with your support, we can keep going. If you'd like to donate towards their feed and grain, we'd be forever grateful. We also require more hay and shavings. My PayPal information will be added in the comments for those who wish to assist. Hello everyone, I hope you are preparing for the extremely cold weather forecasted for tomorrow evening. My area is expected to experience temperatures of 10 degrees tomorrow night, which is unusually cold for Texas. The potential impact on our electric grid is a concern.
I am seeking assistance with obtaining feed, corn, shavings, and hay. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Recent unexpected expenses have created a challenge, and I would appreciate any help in keeping my animals warm and comfortable during this cold snap. Thank you, and God bless. Sadly, coyotes got to some of the others. The new intakes are a bit wary of me, which is to be expected, but they appear to be settling in well…

Good morning everyone… As the colder weather sets in, our beloved birds are eating more to stay warm. I’m now going through 50-100 pounds more feed a week than I do during the warmer months. With Christmas approaching, these precious birds deserve something special. Would you be willing to donate some feed, grain, and straw to keep them cozy and warm?? Maybe some delicious treats?? Good evening everyone. As Christmas approaches and the weather starts to get colder, especially at night, the birds require more food to maintain their warmth. We would greatly appreciate donations of feed and grain or sponsorships for one or more birds on a monthly basis. Operating a rescue center is challenging and with the increasing cost of feed, it is becoming harder to keep our doors open. We are in need of monthly donors.
