MaeDay Rescue MaeDay Rescue is a 501c3 animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles. Her passion is animals; with each one she saves, it's as if she is saving Maggie Mae.

We are solely based in Los Angeles and are not affiliated with any other organizations. MaeDay is named after Natalie's dog, Maggie Mae, whose life was taken after a roll over accident on the freeway in 2010. Since the accident, Natalie has volunteered at local California animal shelters and with Mexican animal shelters, fostering and finding homes for hundreds of dogs and cats. She has volunteere

d at Spay/Neuter clinics and is currently planning a Mae-Day spay/neuter clinic for the fall of 2014. This page is meant to spread awareness and share the work that Mae-Day is doing, along with promoting Mae-Day events and Mae-Day animals. All donations are appreciated and will help all fur babies!! I’ve decided that every Monday in Maeday is now known as “Misfit Maeday dog Monday” and that means we will only post the available Maeday dogs that are “misfits” and we say they with love!

Rudy here came to us in December of 2024 (yes it’s almost October of 2025!) and she loves people and loves dogs off leash with the proper introduction, but he would go insane on walks when he first came to his Maeday Foster straight out of the shelter. We were definitely overwhelmed and now six months later after being in his amazing training program thanks to he is a completely different dog. He still has some quirks, making him a Maeday misfit 🥹 But, who doesn’t love a misfit and or an under dog?! Those are our favorite types!

He is a pure breed Miniature Pincher and that comes with stubbornness and smarts. He is SO loving and will make you melt when he meets you. He’d thrive with a yard! If you have any questions about his training, please reach out to his trainers and follow them to show them some support.

Frosty wants to sleep in and cuddle with you! This cuddly girl loves everyone and is a social sweetheart! We can’t believe we have had her this long and she started off as a tiny seven week old kitten and is now almost 6 months old. It’s heartbreaking to see all of her siblings get adopted and she and her sister are the only two left.

Please help us share her so we can find her a home. We aren’t known as a cat rescue and people do not come to us to adopt cats. We need your help to spread the word!

Surprise!!! These two will be at the adoption event TODAY (Sunday Sept. 21st) from 12-2pm at Maeday outpost 👉🏽

Meet Franco & Sylvia these two Pekingnese pups we’re part of a hoarding case where 22 dogs came into the Victor Valley shelter. A lot of rescues jumped into grab some of the dogs and we were lucky enough to get these two. The plan yesterday was for them to go into separate foster homes, but since they have been each other’s consistency over this huge change in their lives, we figured we would see if we could get them adopted together. They aren’t necessarily bonded, but they are familiar with each other and seem to enjoy each other’s company.

If they each have solo interest over the next few weeks, we may entertain adopting them out separately, but we would prefer to have them go to a home together. They have only been with us one night, but they seem potty trained, good with other dogs and thanks to our groomer we were able to give them a spa day right when they came to us

They are about 1-2 years old and Franco is 12lbs & Sylvia is 15lbs

Look who’s back!!! It’s Effie!!! This girl is back from an adoption trial & will be at the event to meet YOU tomorrow!!! The trial didn’t work out but not because of anything to do with Effie - she remains a perfect & affable little gal 🙌🏼😍

Effie is 1-2 years old, 11 lbs …and happy, sweet & lovable! She adores other dogs and would be great in a home with other playful pals ….but she’d also be fine as an only dog if she was still taken to dog parks/daycare and socialized with other dogs (because she really does love it!). Come say HI👋🏼& give her lots of love TOMORROW!!! 12-2PM (610 N Hoover St)!!!

We have old to young, very playful to chill and everything in between! Come find your perfect family match! You don’t have to be in the market to adopt to attend the event. These adoptable dogs love attention and it’s good for them to meet lots of different types of people. Come support and maybe grab a Maeday sweatshirt before it gets chilly!

Kingston is still single & ready to mingle! — and as you can see👉🏼 he loves toys and loves to play! He’s such a funny little guy that is obviously also very handsome😍

Kingston just had an adoption trial that didn’t work out …so he’s BACK! It wasn’t his fault & they adored him, but it just wasn’t the right fit- there was both an 80 lb dog & small child in the home …so it was all a little too overwhelming for tiny little Kingston. He probably wants a more calm household. But that’s ok - that’s why we do trials — and we hope his forever home is right around the corner!🤞🏼

Redford is HOME …and only 2 days after the passing of his namesake Robert Redford (RIP). We think this wonderful family is a good tribute …and we are thrilled that Redford now has two loving parents in .garcia & that will guarantee he now has a charmed life fit for a movie star!⭐️😍

As you may remember, Redford was dumped in an orchard in Bakersfield (a dumping ground for a lot of unwanted dogs, sadly)💔. Scroll👉🏼to see where he was found. We heard about his story from …and thanks to who jumped in to foster, we were able to welcome him into Maeday. As you can see, he’s so happy in his new forever home — what a long way he has come! You can even follow his journey with his new brother Mr Winter (on TikTok &!IG: ). We love this happy ending!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Oh, well hello Susie 👋🏽 Susie is recovering from her recent spay and her growth on her lower back is just a lipoma (a benign growth) yay!

She is the sweetest girl and still pushes her head into your hand for pets 🥹 We know she will be popular at the adoption event this weekend, so get there right at 12 to meet her!
