MaeDay Rescue MaeDay Rescue is a 501c3 animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles. Her passion is animals; with each one she saves, it's as if she is saving Maggie Mae.

We are solely based in Los Angeles and are not affiliated with any other organizations. MaeDay is named after Natalie's dog, Maggie Mae, whose life was taken after a roll over accident on the freeway in 2010. Since the accident, Natalie has volunteered at local California animal shelters and with Mexican animal shelters, fostering and finding homes for hundreds of dogs and cats. She has volunteere

d at Spay/Neuter clinics and is currently planning a Mae-Day spay/neuter clinic for the fall of 2014. Meet the Maeday Zodiac litter! This litter of 6 puppies was born to a scruffy white terrier looking mom and a chihuahua dad about 6 weeks ago. The family who had them is keeping the mom, but luckily is allowing us to fix her. These puppies were bound for the shelter and we are happy we could grab them thanks to two fosters who split the litter.

We have 2 boys (Capricorn & Aries) and the other 4 are girls. They are all social, playful and look healthy. They’ll be seeing our vet this week for a check up and we MIGHT have a puppy social this Sunday at our shop… tbd… They won’t be ready to go to their new homes for about two weeks as we want to keep them together till they are about 8 weeks of age.

Generally with puppies this young, we try and them adopted into homes that have another dog social they can learn to be grown up dogs from them! It helps with their socialization.

Rainbow update! This perfect 3 year old boy just moved with his foster mom. His foster mom moved apartments and although he has only been with her about two months (so he moved to her from his last home) now he has moved to a new apartment! You’d think with all this moving around he’d be nervous or need time to destress. Not Rainbow! He goes with the flow and is already chilling on boxes in her new place taking naps.

He still loves his foster’s cat and would love a forever home with another cat to be his pal. It’s good to know that when he does get adopted, it takes him no time to settle in!

Angela has started to play with dogs and it’s the cutest thing. We knew she was good with dogs, but coming to Maeday with a skin infection, bad teeth and depressed after losing her mom who died and losing her home- it was understandable that she was low energy. Now she is feeling herself and has a pep in her step! She loves her dog pals on walks and has been showing off her wrestling skills!

This young at heart 10 year old is the best gal and we are truly shocked she doesn’t have more interest. She melts into you when you pick her up and she gets along with everyone. Even cats!

We shared this on stories, but had to share as a reel. Look at smudge! This sweet guy is the BEST and we can’t believe that if we didn’t save him, he’d be dead 😭 He is so comfortable at his fosters home that you can hear it!

We can’t wait to see where this perfect guy is going to end up. He only deserves the best home!

Oh hey!👋🏼 Tiny 4.5 lb Cornelia is just popping up here to let you know that her dental surgery went great this week and she’s already feeling SO much better! She had 18 rotten teeth & a lot of infections in her stinky little mouth ….but she has recovered wonderfully and feels like a new lady! Her mouth was clearly very much bothering her - the vet said a lot of her teeth were just hanging on by abscess material😭 - Ouch! But after just a few days, she’s feeling great, has perked up a lot, and is eating like a little champ!

Cornelia is the sweetest little senior gal - super friendly, affectionate & well behaved. She’s perfectly potty trained, loves her people, is good with other dogs, and wants to cuddle the day away. Now that her dental is behind her, we’re going to see a specialist for her back legs …but you can still apply now. She’ll be in tip top shape in no time and we can’t wait to find her perfect forever home that will love & treat her like the princess she is!👑

Cricket is a whole look and we think she’s rocking it! She had a follow up visit post surgery and they said she is healing perfectly! They were very impressed with her and we know it’s because of her amazing foster parents

We love watching this girl heal, come out of her shell and shine! She’s got the best personality!
