IT’S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!! 🎄🐾
Deacon was adopted today by Carla and his new brother Ole.
Carla has always rescued seniors and lost her senior girl recently, so she was looking for a new dog companion for her and her remaining dog Ole since he’s mostly blind and deaf. Congratulations and we can’t wait for pupdates!

UPDATE:
Owners found and reunited!
DO YOU KNOW ME!?!
Male gray tiny guy wearing a flower crown around his neck. Possibly named Rambo. Very well behaved.
Found roaming close to Oliver St in California. We think we know where owner lives, but when the finder and I tried to knock hours apart, no one would answer the door.
Neighbors confirmed they have seen him around the area loose several times.
No tags. Will try the home again tomorrow and then take him to the vet for a chip scan. Please contact us if he’s yours. We are here to help!
He’s safe and warm with food and water tonight. ❤️

Emily (with Emmy’s Dog Walking) took him for an afternoon out at Tractor Supply! He loved on every person he saw and was a perfect gentleman.

We are now officially an affiliate of Pro! Our local California Vet was able to help me with the necessary paperwork to apply.
This means we are now able to post our available dogs for adoption on their petfinder.com website and reach a lot more people!

Santa says Deacon is on the Nice List and you could be too if you adopt him and let him join your family this Christmas!
Deacon definitely had a family at some point because he is the most well behaved dog ever! Deacon found himself alone roaming a major highway for over a week before he came to us. No one claimed him and he had no chip or identification. He hasn’t had any messages of interest in him.
Don’t let the white of his chinny chin chin discourage you from letting this handsome boy join your home. You wouldn’t know his age otherwise.
What we do know…
🐾 10-12 year old 84lb lab/rot mix
🐾 knows commands like sit and shake
🐾 amazing on and off leash
🐾 kennel trained and never had an accident in his kennel outside (he has marked inside before, but I do think he would be house trained easily)
🐾his back legs sometimes bother him, so he takes one advil a day and has had no issues since being with us. (Limited stairs at furever home would be ideal)
🐾he does the cutest tippy tappy dance on his front paws when he sees you after it’s been a little while
🐾 neutered, parvo, and rabies vaccines up to date
🐾good with other dogs

Are you looking for the perfect family dog?! An older couple needing a low energy dog!? A single person who can give Deacon a warm bed inside to snooze on all day!?
Deacon is SUCH a GOOD boy and he deserves a warm bed inside and to get all the love that we simply cannot provide with 4 other dogs. He spends most of his time alone outside or in his kennel besides our daily interactions and daily walk. He is SO happy. Could you be his soft spot to land for his golden years?? HAPPY TAIL #8 for Mission Monipaw this year!!!
Hank was adopted today by his new dad Paul and beagle fur brother Buster! It was a match made in heaven for these two boys. They ran and played and I’ll let the rest of the photos from Paul’s update a few hours after I left tell the rest of his happily ever after! It’s a Christmas miracle for this pup and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of his journey to his furever home! ❤️🐾 every. thing. is. worth. this.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM Deacon ! We are so thankful for all the support throughout the last 6 months with all the dogs come and gone through MM.
While you’re saying thanks for your many blessings and enjoying your family time, don’t forget Deacon who would love a family of his very own.
Deacon is a 10-12 year old 84lb lab/rot mix. He is well trained on commands, kennel/home, and stays close by even when not on a leash. He does fantastic on the leash and loves car rides! Friendly with other dogs with proper introductions. He is sweet as pie and a gentle giant. This senior has lots of life to live still and lots of love to give. Do you have a warm comfy bed you could open up to him this Holiday?? I promise you won’t regret it.

Howdy y’all!
I’m ready to be your do-si-do partner for life!
For some reason, my other partners didn’t get the meaning of PART-NER and didn’t want me anymore.
But, let me tell ya, it’s not sweat to me. Let me tell you how I’ll lasso your heart….
I am a small guy 40-45lbs
• a beagle pointer hound mix
• kennel and house trained
• dog friendly
• cute n cuddly
• neutered and up to date on all vet care (heart worm and flea and tick preventative for Dec included)
• I don’t like to be alone, but I know you can’t be with me allll the time. I just may be a little whiny/vocal about it.
I am really sweet and lovable. I do pretty well on my leash, great in the backyard, and love to be with my humans.

I promise if you adopt me, I will love you until the cows come home 🐾❤️

Hank and Deacon got some great attention today and a nice long walk from Emily Green with Emmy's Dog Walking !!
She is walking them free of charge and working with them to help them get adopted!
I am also using her services for our 4 personal dogs!
What a great affordable service for Moniteau County!! The dogs enjoyed this nice fall day and I enjoyed a break from walking them all each day 😉 🐾❤️

Who is Mission Monipaw?

Michaela lives in California, MO on a small farm with her boyfriend, Cord. She adopted Bella when she was 21 from Rescue One in Springfield, MO.

At the time, Bella had been there the longest and had failed her temperament test. That is, until the Browning Family stepped up as her foster family and helped her defy all odds. They worked with her and helped her heal.

I was hopeful to be her new home, but nervous. We took it slow and now she has been my best friend for many years. We have been through many trials, together.

I met my boyfriend and his husky, Pike 4 years ago. He is the most even-tempered dog you’ll ever meet, but is an expert escape artist. Bella and Pike have always gotten along great!

An opportunity for a home in the country opened up. We wanted to give our dogs the space to run. More space = more dogs, right?

A few months before closing, a rescue posted a GSP that had shown up. No one claimed her, no chip, nothing. We fell in love with her and ran to bring her home.

Then came the pup that started Mission Monipaw. I was at the gym one morning and he came right up to me. No one else was around. When I left, I could not leave the parking lot without opening my door. He jumped right in!

We got him vetted and looked for his owner for almost a month, to no avail. Since he got along with everyone else in our household, we decided to keep him.

Our county (Moniteau - Monipaw get it?) has NO resources and a HUGE issue with homeless animals/overpopulation. I would love to open a rescue someday, but I’m just one person - trying to change the world. I work two jobs and still have to reserve time for our 4 dogs and their well being.

Since May, we have taken in/provided funding and vet care for NINE dogs. We currently are looking for homes for two.

The other 7 found their happily ever after. I’m so glad I could be there for them, and hope their lives are better because of it.

For the animals, until there are none. I cannot thank you enough for being here. Every like, share, comment, dollar donated is SO appreciated.

Success Stories & The start of it all:

May 2023 - Hyde! The second picture is the day he was found. He was the start of it all. MM was at the gym early one morning and by the time she left, Hyde had hopped right into her car!

July 2023
A Lost Mama & Her Pups:
Missy (mama) was reunited with her owners after being found 10 miles away from her home. Mission Monipaw helped secure funds so that mama bear could have adequate, safe shelter, and supplies. Unfortunately, the owners were unable to take in her puppies. Mission Monipaw tracked down furever homes for each of Missy’s babies after funding their spays and vet care. 🤗💗 🐾

Meet Hank!
Hank is estimated to be (about) 2 years old, 40-45lbs and a smaller Beagle/pointer/hound mix. He is playful and energetic!

Hank is neutered and up to date on all vet care (rabies, heart worm test, parvo vaccine, and on flea and tick medicine). He has been getting along great with my pit mix girl, but our males don’t like him. He is sometimes too friendly and needs proper introductions.

He is kennel/house trained for accidents, but is vocal in his kennel or in the house when you leave or if he sees other dogs. He loves to run and play and sniff all around. Hank is wonderful on a leash! He is very sweet and affectionate, working on learning commands.

Hank had a family who wanted to rehome him for reasons unknown. When no one would take him, they just let him out on the street. He wondered around town with no shelter, food, water provided for weeks. That is, until someone caught him and brought him to the vet who had him on a hold. I stepped up to get him acclimated out of the kennel and try to find him a loving home where he will never be let go again.

All dogs are located in California, MO- but can be transported if the perfect home is found. All dogs are free to a good home. Meet and greet required. Please adopt if you can, share and donate if you can’t.

Meet Deacon!
Deacon is 10-12 years old and is a lab/Rottweiler mix at 84 lbs. He is trained and knows commands (sit, shake) & has never had an accident in his kennel. He has been good with chill, male farm dogs that come visit. HE LOVES CAR RIDES! Deacon is neutered and has received rabies and parvo vaccines.

He has hip mobility issues and takes aspirin daily for pain management. He loves to take a warm nap inside, get lots of pets, and enjoys his potty breaks outside. He was found wondering along a major highway for a week before we got him. No chip or identification.

We’ve had him for several weeks now and would love to find him his perfect home to live his remaining years in peace. He truly is such a good boy!

All dogs are located in California, MO but can be transported if the perfect home is found. All dogs are free to a good home. Meet and greet required. Please adopt if you can, share and donate if you can’t.
