While you are intentionally bringing more dogs into an already overpopulated canine world, there are dogs of all breeds sitting in rescues and shelters. Many are dying due to a lack of room, a lack of care, etc. Many came from breeders to begin with.

So, please take a good, hard look at what you are doing and ask yourself, "Do we need more dogs?"

I can assure you from where I am sitting that we have no room for the ones already here.

Help those already here.
Please.

A MESSAGE TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO CONTINUE TO BREED AND SELL DOGS: STOP.

And if anyone gets on here and wants to school us in the "reason" dog breeding is ok, don't. Not from where we are sitting, trying to save lives, giving up sleep doing it, and begging for help. You will lose that argument.

This is one place that will never condone breeding.

🐾 Our veterinary team at Everett Animal Shelter is in desperate need of a new microscope—an essential tool we rely on every single day to care for animals in need. 🐾

Our current microscope has seen years of use, and its scratched lenses now make it nearly impossible to get a clear view—even after multiple deep cleanings. Without it, our ability to diagnose and treat animals quickly and accurately is compromised.
