- Stay calm and gently remove the stinger if visible (scrape, don’t pinch!)
- Apply a cool compress to reduce swelling
- Monitor closely for signs of an allergic reaction

Know the warning signs:

- Excessive panting or drooling

- Weakness or collapse

- Red gums or glazed eyes

- Vomiting or diarrhea

- Rapid heartbeat

"Boots showed up at our house in October of 2016 and claimed us as his new family. He loved to visit inside, but lived outside. He was the most loving cat I've ever met. He passed in October of 2023."

Today we're remembering Crystal Dyer's Ally.

Ally was my first real furbaby. She lived for 11 years. She never knew a stranger and didn't have a mean bone in her body. When she got older and we were walking, she would get tired wait for me to drop the leash & then take herself home following all the streets we took. We'd find her by the water pan at the back porch.
