Don’t let the “L” word get your horse this Fall. Now that the nights are getting a bit cooler, the carbohydrate content in the grass is going to start creeping up. All those horses that have been living on the edge this summer might just go over the edge this Fall as their access to carbohydrates goes unchecked. This is also the time that those with PPID/Cushings, diagnosed or not, also go over the edge. Be a vigilant owner and set your horse up for success rather than tragedy.

Get with us if you have questions, concerns or would like to have your horse evaluated for insulin dysregulation and/or PPID. It’s pretty easy to test for both of these conditions and we would be more than happy to help you design a plan to keep your horse healthy and sound.

Unfortunately it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow so we are postponing the clinic. I have been in contact with individuals so I can schedule something for them but if you are interested in being part of it and weren't already on the list just let us know!!

We are still planning to have the clinic Saturday if it isn't raining Saturday so stay tuned. If it does get rained out we will reschedule and refund anyone who can't come to the new date! Starts at 10 Saturday morning if we can!

We are having a horsemanship/barrel racing clinic April 29th at my house. $60 per person, I only have 3 spots available. For a total class of 5. Lunch will be provided by Grant Dodson. We do need $20 of the cost to reserve your spot, which you can PayPal.
