We had a great day being outside, first baths, trimming of nails, and change of collars!
Gosh these guys sure are adorable.. I may just have to keep them all 😍 their personalities are very biddable, loving, spunky, and even tempered. Drooling over here.
Embers babies are all 11.5lbs - 12.5lbs at 7 weeks old! ( today)
Kinkys babies are all between 9-10lbs at 6 weeks old (Saturday)!
Wings, gunshot, & crate training coming for the following week!
Puppy evals for keepers comes next Sunday!

5 & 6 week photos coming tomorrow, but in the mean time 😍😍🫶

I can’t believe these guys are 3 & 4 weeks old already!
They are eating mush, learning to potty in the box, are listening to all different kinds of sounds, don’t give a hoot about the vacuum, and are teething. Now that embers babies are really starting to move around and Kinkys are catching up, we have just expanded their boxes, and are going to be adding in their toy cube.
It’s about to get fun!!!
All of Kinkys babies are at the 5 and a half lb mark, all of embers are between 6-7lbs!

Empress Rebound WC had a fantastic weekend. He received 2 out of the 4 passes needed for a JH title. We are extremely proud of him. We will have a post this evening in regards to three available dogs, and are going to be on puppy watch as the week progresses. Its crazy to think its been 7 months since our last litter, so we are excited to share puppy pictures again as time allows.

In 14 days his weekend will be completely different as we hope to grab his last championship point needed to complete that title as well!

Thank you Lady & Zoey for being the start of my breeding program and allowing me to learn with you for the past three years. The education, experience, puppies, families, and a champion out of my very first litter was more than I could’ve ever asked out of either of you.

Here at Gunpowder & Lead, all of our dogs receive fresh quail eggs daily with their meals!
Here are a few benefits:

Quail eggs offer many benefits for dogs when given in small amounts. They're high in protein, vitamins and minerals. In fact, quail eggs contain more protein than chicken eggs do! Quail eggs also contain phosphorus and potassium which are important minerals for your dog's health.

In addition to these health benefits, quail eggs also provide a great source of vitamin A (which helps maintain healthy vision) as well as B12 (which keeps their red blood cells healthy). Quail eggs are also an excellent source of choline which helps support brain function by improving memory function as well as concentration levels.

We’ve got eyeballs and walkers!!!!

You guys remember Fluff who turned into Bowden right? Big CHONKY, light yellow, blue collar male? Well if you remember correctly, his family from Florida picked him up last weekend! Today they sent me a video of them surprising their daughters at camp, and let me warn you before you watch this video. I was BAWLING 😭 so grab a tissue and enjoy! 😭😭🤍🤍🐶

Starting to play! We tried to go outside today but as soon as I had everyone in the bin to carry them out… it was raining cats & dogs :(

Switching up from our normal headshots! Happy 5 weeks to these sweetest babies! Black male and yellow female available! These guys did so well with their first vaccines!

Bounce had his first show with us this weekend at the HOTLRC! He was the only dog in his 15-18mo puppy class this weekend, so of course won his class by default. He didn’t pick up any points this weekend but we just wanted to share how well he showed. We’re ecstatic this boy is in our program.

Puppies got their second bath today! This will be it until go home! Their only complaint is that overlapped their lunchtime! 💕🥺

Not sure why this didn’t post from instagram! Pups earlier this morning waiting for breakfast!
