Los Gatos family of three (one child, aged 7) is looking for a Part Time Nanny.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 3 to 7 p.m. (4 hours daily).
Nanny will pick child up from school and transport to and from activities and outings.

Compensation
$20 to $30 per hour (DOE) paid weekly

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 3 to 7 p.m. (20 hrs per week). This schedule may change during vacation and holiday times. Will likely need full days during vacation times -- depending on the week.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide after school care for seven year old.
Pickup child from school; drive to activities (Tae Kwon Do/swimming/play dates).
Play with child; assist with homework and or reading, writing.
Shopping: groceries and art supplies
Prepare and provide snacks and dinner ; tidy up kitchen after.
Load/Empty dishwasher.
Help with bathing routines.
Keep child's bedroom, bathroom, play areas clean and tidy. Restock art supplies
Provide pet care and playtime for very high energy Labradoodle puppy, such as feeding and walking.

Family is looking for:
"Someone who loves to be fun and silly with kids and who can make/disguise learning/homework as fun. They would have tons of patience, a great/offbeat sense of humor, they would be curious, flexible and very active with lots of interests. Would be great if they are studying teaching/have teaching experience and love crazy, wild puppies. They would be a member of our family."

Applicant Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ related experience working as a Nanny, Family Assistant with a private family, excellent references
Legally eligible to work in the United States and pass an in-depth background investigation
Must be able to speak and write English, fluently
Valid driver’s license and clean DMV driving record
TrustLine registered or able to pass a background check
CPR certification and knowledge of general first aid
Flexible in work schedule with willingness to work additional hours as needed
Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
Physically agile; able to keep up with active children
Experience in providing pet care for dogs a real plus
