Jaidas Paws Rescue Inc

Jaidas Paws Rescue Inc A 501(c)3 small dog rescue. Located in Campbellsville Ky. 42718 We began to open our home to each and every dog / puppy and litters that came our way.

We have rescued, fully vetted, and found wonderful homes for each one. As we grew we felt the need to name the rescue and that is how Jaida's Paws Rescue came about. Jaida has and always will be the inspiration and passion we have for the babies. We lost Jaida in February of 2019 after 17 yrs of endless love. We wanted to carry on her legacy and have outgrown our home with so many babies in need

that we decided to build a new building. With only a handful of volunteers to help with the build and almost a year under construction it is finished. We will be able to help many babies in need and we are excited to be able to help the community even more with the over population of pets. All babies will continue to be seen by our vet to assure all are healthy and have all their medical needs met including spay / neuter and shots. We are a NO KILL facility meaning we will never euthanize for space. We have fenced in areas where the babies can get out and run/exercise and play daily. We will love, cuddle and care for each baby as we have always done and find each one the loving home they deserve. We take in the unwanted, those in danger, strays, dumped, puppy mill babies. Our goal is to educate the public on the importance of helping with the pet over population in the world by having pets spayed / neutered, and how to be proper and responsible pet owners. We will forever rescue in hopes that one day there will be NO strays, unwanted, dumped, abused, puppy mill, abandoned, unloved, or uncared for babies.

HAPPY NEW YEAR....THANK YOU!!!
As we reflect back on 2025 it was a year filled with many emotions. We took in and forever changed the lives of 89 babies. We couldn't have done this without God blessing us with YOU. Together we make a difference. Your support and loving heart helped us take in the owner surrenders, the strays, those lost that we were able to reunite with their family, those we were able to pull from a shelter, several off a life of living on a chain...Each had a story and mostly a sad one...yet we were there to hold, to love, to help them. Emotional, stressful, time consuming, costly, exhausting, many sleepless nights...yet each brought us joy, laughter and tears of happiness as they found their much deserving, furever loving home and family. So here's to the new year 2026.... We wish each of you a wonderful year filled with great health, happiness, peace, and much success. Stay safe during your celebrating of bringing in the new year as we look forward to seeing you again in 2026 ❤

PUPDATE: After a potty this morning and a good feeding and clean blanket....little one peeped out long enough for a pic ❤
We were blessed to be able to rescue this little guy and just in time for him to say goodbye to his old life in 2025 and hello to a new beginning in 2026....WHERE IS HE...you ask? He's bundled himself (all 4 lbs of him) in the blanket....he's had a busy day of being rescued, seeing the vet for nail trim, flea infestation, up dated on all his shots, f***l, deworming, to rescue for a warm bath ( no more fleas) and a good feeding. I didn't have the heart to disrupt a warm, sound sleeping baby...so we'll keep you posted ❤

PLEASE READ.....
Help us to help you get your lost pet home faster...Please have your pets microchipped. It's inexpensive and will give you an added upper edge on getting your pet reunited with you.....we've heard the old sayings...my pet has a fenced in yard, never goes out unsupervised, etc....well we also know gates don't always latch, doors are accidently opened, underground fencing fails and batteries can go dead in collars....pet is GONE. And PLEASE REGISTER THAT CHIP!!!! There are multiple online services to do so....do not assume that just because your pet has a microchip that's it....You MUST register the chip. If your pet becomes lost any vet/rescue/shelter can scan for a chip....if registered, your name, address and phone number will come up so your pet can quickly be reunited with you. If not registered...only a number will come up with no info on who owns the pet or where it belongs....🙁 Also as a reminder PLEASE keep it updated. If you move, change your phone number or rehome the pet be sure to update the chip info. Help us to help you get your pets home sooner if they get out ❤

In loving memory of Miss Ellie...
We received a donation in honor of Miss Ellie. This beautiful soul was adopted from our rescue after she was originally owner surrendered. God sent an amazing family to give her a wonderful home full of love, never wanting for anything. Our hearts broke and tears fell when her mom notified us of her sudden passing just before Christmas. Our heart goes out to the owners as we know how much they loved her and all they did to save her....She had many wonderful loving years with them, making so many memories. Thank you for thinking of us during your difficult time and know that Miss Ellie will forever be in our hearts and never be forgotten ❤

In loving memory of Hanna & Jeffy
We received a donation today in loving memory of Jeffy whom crossed the rainbow bridge last week and in loving memory of Hannah (whom preceded him in death). Cindy's mom Hanna loved Jeffy and Jeffy loved Hanna. We thank you so very much for thinking of rescue at this difficult time. Hanna was an amazing woman and Jeffy an amazing fur baby. Both are sadly missed and will remain in our hearts forever never to be forgotten ❤

Our Story

This rescue was founded by Sandra Benton and her husband Kenny, and little Jaida Marie. In 2004 Sandra had an accident and was in a wheelchair with doctors saying she may never walk again. Our very first rescue was a 4mo. Chihuahua named Jaida Marie, brought home by husband Kenny. Over the months following I feel that God sent her to me to get me out of that wheel chair. After a year she did just that. She also showed us how a “rescue” pet could turn your life around in so many ways. In 2005 we began to open our home to each and every dog / puppy and litters that came our way. We have rescued, fully vetted, and found wonderful homes for each one. As we grew we felt the need to name the rescue and that is how Jaida,s Paws Rescue came about. Jaida has and always will be the inspiration and passion we have for the babies. We lost Jaida in February of 2019 after 15 yrs of endless love. We wanted to carry on her legacy and have outgrown our home with so many babies in need that hubby decided to build a new building for the rescue to use. With only a handful of volunteers to help with the build and almost a year under construction it is finished. We will be able to help many babies in need and we are excited to be able to help the community even more with the over population of pets. All our rescued babies will continue to be seen by our vet upon intake to assure all are healthy and have all their medical needs met including spay / neuter and shots. We are a NO KILL facility meaning we will never euthanize for space. We have fenced in areas where the babies can get out and run/exercise and play daily. We also have inside areas, one with a “home setting” so the babies can get on the sofa and get that feeling of being loved again. We will love, cuddle and care for each baby as we have always done and find each one the loving home they deserve. We take in the unwanted, those in danger, strays, dumped, puppy mill babies as well as mothers with or expecting litters. Our goal is to educate the public on the importance of helping with the pet over population in the world by having pets spayed / neutered, and how to be proper and responsible pet owners. We have also grown into a 501(c)3 corporate team of volunteer animal lovers. They are not paid employees. Each one has and works a full time job yet volunteers their spare time to this rescue. We will forever rescue in hopes that one day there will be NO strays, unwanted, dumped, abused, puppy mill, abandoned, unloved, or uncared for babies.
