Everything we said yesterday about giving our boy time to settle, we meant it.

However, he has indicated he’s already quite settled, and perfectly okay with visitors.

We want you all to know we adore visitors - we normally reserve Wednesday for walk ins and all other appointments are by appointment only.

This will be especially true this week - we ask that you refrain from visiting us Monday and Tuesday.

Monday, July 8, we will not be around at all as we are headed to another part of the state to pick up our newest addition, Arabian stallion Cosmos Majestic Moon.

We're sure Cosmo is going to be the best addition to our farm, but we will not be booking any appointments Monday or Tuesday so we can focus on getting our new resident settled.

Wednesday will be business as usual with our walk in Lead Line Wednesday.

We have time slots available for lessons Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week - please reach out for booking!

AND YES, we're VERY EXCITED to welcome our new boy!

Last Wednesday - Lotus was the star of our leadline and arts and crafts day.

This is Rahar Gentleman Jack, owned by Atkins Arabians in Bath, NY.

Jack made our decisions SUPER HARD when we were deciding who we wanted to bring home. He’s got some nice breeding, Raffles included. His sire was campaigned successfully as a dressage horse. He’s got a beautiful face, a classical way of moving, and a personality that is hard to resist.

We decided on Cosmo, but if we had unlimited funds and time we would have chose to bring both home.

Fellow Arabian enthusiasts, if you’re considering purchasing an Arabian stallion - consider this guy.

Just a reminder - we are actively booking riding lessons for riders of all ages.

Our four lesson package makes riding lessons much more affordable for the family - and if you’ve got a set of siblings looking for lessons either child can use lessons purchased as a package.

Our riding lessons consist of brushing and prepping, racking up, THEN the hour of ride time.

Lotus, Rocky and Cash are waiting for visitors! I think they miss the kids from when we were in Massachusetts, honestly.

Mt. View Desert Star - came home to us a few years ago as an unbroke and fairly unhandled 14 year old.

She’s now going under saddle, and doing quite well. We’re getting to a point where I am going to start getting a bit fussy about how she carries herself - so we stretch before we tack up and take a good long walk before really getting down to work.

I’ve come as far with this mare as I have for one simple reason. I don’t demand, I discuss. And I don’t start arguments I can’t win - I ask for the simple things and then I build on them.

When this girl first came to us she barely lead, and had no respect for personal space. Now she’s going under saddle politely. That’s a huge amount of growth.
