With the holidays coming, our glass ornaments can be a nice way to memorialize your pet. Your pet’s actual paw or nose print can be engraved on the ornament.

Pet Passages will be sending well wishes and cheering on our own Jessica Radcliffe and Bunny at the National dog show Nov 16th and 17th in Philadelphia. The show will be aired on NBC on Thanksgiving Day. Hope we get to see them on tv!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the lovely weather! Before we purchase new items, we wanted to share that we are in need of large towels, blankets, or comforters for our patients. Don’t worry about stains or frayed edges; we’re prioritizing comfort and warmth. If you have any to spare, please feel free to drop them off with Katie at the front desk on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Thank you for your generosity!

Dr. Smith’s dog Spy is missing, last seen on Fleet Road in Hammondsport/Wayne. He has a collar, is microchipped, and is a black & white border collie. Please share!

This handsome lad broke out of his fenced in yard on Friday (10/11) in the 9600 block of Fleet Rd. If you have seen him at any time, please call the numbers at the top of this post and do not attempt to catch him a make any movement towards him as he will run!

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Ruby is home safe & sound after 11 hours, 29 minutes :)

"I do want to thank everyone that commented with tips to help locate Ruby. She was happy to be reunited with us and greeted us with many kisses. Most importantly, I want to thank all the neighbors surrounding State Land where she was lost. A gentleman from a neighboring house found our dog. I am fortunate to live in a wonderful, generous community. So many people willing to help search on foot, traveling the trails on four wheelers, checking their trail cams and setting up live traps. They were aware of the situation, stayed attentive at all times, walked trails numerous times since she went missing and hung up/passed out flyers. They shared on Facebook and kept an open line of communication with each other and us. We are thankful, elated and exhausted. THANK YOU ALL!"

Message from Owner: On our daily walk in State Land, our 7 month old boxer, Ruby, was startled by a motorcycle when getting her in our vehicle. She took off running and we have been searching for her since. She is very lovable, but also very timid. Barks at people until she becomes comfortable with them she has been spotted at least once since that time. If seen, do not chase her.

Riley update:

Miss Riley has been enjoying nice meals and sleeping a lot. She is sore from running so much and has lots of bug bites, but other than that her veterinarian expects her to be fine. We are so grateful.

The 2 days that Riley was missing felt like 2 months. We can definitely say that pets bring out the best in people. Still wrapping our heads around the amazing outpouring of support to bring Riley home.

Treska and Earl Wright turned their home in to a command post for finding Riley, and welcomed anyone wanting to help search or hang poster’s. They fed all of us, provided comfy places for us to rest even though we couldn’t sleep, and wrapped their arms around us in the middle of the night when we felt helpless. Vicki Wright and DonPaul Panipinto juggled taking care of their newborn baby and spending hours looking for Riley.

Scott Arthur and Katie Arthur spent their entire weekend searching, knocking on doors, hanging posters, provided supplies for scent trails, posted on FB for us and contacted the radio stations.

Jessica Marie Radcliffe, so much to say but will keep it brief. Jess took my frantic call 10 min after Riley ran off, was there in 30 min and only stopped looking long enough to shower, sleep briefly or help out Pet Passages - Fingerlakes, NY Dignified Pet Cremation.

Lost Dogs of Schuyler , knowledge and guidance was invaluable. They encouraged us to not lose hope and took charge when I was too exhausted to lead anymore.

Thank you to all the family and friends that prayed and sent well wishes our way.

Thank you to the complete strangers we constantly met on the roads driving around, the home owners who let us search their properties, local businesses for letting us hang flyers, and to the drone companies for helping us look.

Thank you to our clients that came out to help and loaned us cameras.

Thank you to our affiliate veterinarians that showed up to help.

So many people to thank! It took a village! We love you all and Riley thanks you! ❤️🐾
