Charlie boy is a special one for me. I have mentioned him before. He is very fearful of new people, and I worked for weeks to earn his trust. Well recently it finally paid off! His parents went away for vacation, and we were able to give them peace of mind when it came to Charlie. Previously, Charlie had been boarded at a kennel which resulted in him refusing to eat and losing a ton of weight because of how fearful he was. I worked with him the entire week to ensure he ate his meals and created as stress free an environment as I could. I will miss you until next time sweet boy! 🥰

Recently was referred to a new client who got stuck in a bind when a last minute weekend trip came up, and their usual kennel was full. We will always do our best to accommodate even last minute requests if we can! Luckily, we were able to help out and got to spend a weekend with Deogee! This boy was the sweetest and so well behaved! Hope we get to hang with him again in the future! 🥰

Oh Louie. 🥰 This boy believe it or not is 11 years old! Yet, he keeps me moving on our walks! He definitely helps me keep my step count up. 🤣❤️ His mom was nervous at first with someone new walking Louie, so we took a slower approach with her home the first time we went for a walk. We always try to accommodate the pups and the parents wherever we can. ❤️

We’ve had a busy summer so far! Pepper was a sweet heart who spent a few days with us while her parents were away for work. She got herself a mini vacation complete with couch snuggles and walks.

When you board with us, your pups don’t spend their time sitting in a kennel with limited play time. They get to lay at my feet while I work, get evening walks, and outside time in a fenced in yard whenever they want/need!

Recently we got to spend a week with Bernie and Bronco. As you can see, Bernie took advantage of his vacation at our home. 😂 They both got to enjoy tons of playtime, snuggles, and relaxation while their parents were away. ❤️

I’ve been away for a bit as things in my personal life have been a bit hectic. That said, we’re ready for the summer and have a few changes:

First, we will no longer be using the Time to Pet App service. All communication should be directed via email ([email protected]), call/text (724-338-8663), or Facebook Messenger.

We will offer drop in visits or walks during evening hours during the weekdays. These are great for cats or small animals for those going on vacation or even folks who work evenings/nights and need their dogs to have a break. (Note that if you live within my neighborhood, I am still able to accommodate earlier drop in times due to proximity.)

Weekend hours will be a little more flexible and offered all day which is great for any weekend plans you may have!

We also will offer in home boarding services over the summer for those dogs that are pet and kid friendly (as we have both here at our home). Our home includes a fenced in backyard, is smoke free, and allows your dog(s) to have more personal time within our home while you’re on vacation. We can accommodate up to two dogs at a time and will never have more than 1 clients pets in our home at a time.

Our newest client is quite the adorable little man. He enjoyed a drop in walk and some playtime. He loves tug and is probably the softest dog I’ve ever felt. 🥰 His parents were able to have some peace of mind that he had some playtime while they were out.

What do you get when I’m your pet sitter?
First and foremost, peace of mind. ❤️ My goal is to always ensure the safety and happiness of your pets.

But here are some other standard things you can expect from my visits:

- Detailed explanation of every visit and at least 1 photo (if pet allows).
- Feeding and refreshing water bowls.
- Cleaning up pet waste/litter boxes and disposal.
- Treats or medication if requested.
- Lots of playtime, love, and belly rubs/pets.
- I can also assist with small household tasks such as watering your plants, bringing in your mail, or setting out your trash cans.

Have you ever heard of Lykoi cats? These two were so cool to get to pet sit. I had not heard of this breed prior to their momma reaching out to me. I got to spend 2 whole weeks getting to know these three and had the best time! Aleister was the goofiest and always had me laughing. Bellatryx warmed up to me by the end, especially when I had treats. Merry (domestic shorthair) was such a sweetheart and was so friendly. Can’t wait to get to see these 3 again!

Spent a long weekend with these two characters. Such loving beagles! We had a great time hanging outside and lounging on the couch. They free roam the main level of their home, so they got to have a stress free vacation themselves while staying in their routine. That’s the best part about hiring a pet sitter! You can see how relaxed they are. 😂❤️

Sneezy has been with us since 2020. She was living in horrible conditions with 6 of her siblings before coming to EARS. Sneezy is the last of the 6 to be adopted. We would love nothing more than to see her have a forever home as well.

Oh Charlie. This boy has my heart I swear. He’s fearful of strangers, and his mom wants to be able to travel, so we’ve have been getting to know each other over the last month. One thing I will always focus on is what is best for your pet. So if that means sessions just strictly to get to know each other and build trust, that’s absolutely what we will do. We’ve been having mini training sessions because it’s a perfect way to build trust in one another!

If you own a dog, you've heard this rule: 1 year for Fido equals 7 years for you. Turns out, the math isn't that simple. Dogs mature more quickly than we do early on. So the first year of your fuzzy friend’s life is equal to about 15 human years.

Size and breed also play a role. Smaller dogs tend to live longer than larger ones, but they may mature more quickly in the first few years of life. A huge pup might age more slowly at first, but be nearing middle age at 5. Tiny and toy breeds don't become "seniors" until around age 10. Medium-sized pooches are somewhere in the middle on both counts.

Last night I got to do a last minute drop in visit with two of my favorite clients! Their momma called me yesterday morning asking if I could do a drop in that night, and I was happy to have the opportunity to see them again! I got to spend 2 whole weeks with these two! While their momma was away, we got to enjoy some of the last nice weather outside and lots of couch snuggles. The best thing about hiring a professional pet sitter is keeping your pups or other pets in their own routine while you’re gone. This is especially great for senior dogs or dogs with anxiety.
