Sunday we got a call out for 2 missing dogs that had been missing since Thanksgiving. After almost 72 hours of them bring lost, 20 minutes into searching one of them just came home on there own. We moved positions back to the house and about an hour later Oreo was found about a 1/4 mile away bedded down behind the neighbors baseball field.
It is always the best feeling in the world when the owner screams out "oh my god that's my dog!"
If you have a pet go missing or know of anyone with a missing pet the sooner we can get on sight searching the better chance we have in recovering them quickly.

This was definitely a first for me. Using the cinewhoop to high dust hard to reach areas of a hospital.
What a crazy night. While out on a search 10 minutes into my 2nd pack my drone tells me battery level critical forced landing. Meanwhile both of my packs are at 60+% charge! I try and land in the closest opening but on the way to the field I lose video. I thought it my mind well this drone is 60+ feet in a tree. As I get closer to the landing spot my controller reconnects and I see video. The drone is hovering 1ft above the ground with the spot light on. It narrowly avoided every tree on the way down!
Needless to say I will be sending the drone off to DJI to be inspected so I will be down for a few days to a week.
After a rough day in Texas It was nice to come back and fly the F18 and F22 in the sky together.
It was amazing having yall stop by the booth and tell us how much you love the lost pet search services. Even though we had some bad weather in the beginning it was still a great event going on until 8 tonight.
What I absolutely hate seeing when I open up AirControl. TFRs (Temporary Flight Restrictions) If you are in, and or around Atlanta tomorrow is not the day to try out your new Mini 3 from Costco.
If anyone has wondered what is was I did for a 9-5 Job on top of flying Drones
A video version of the tips for the 4th of July
So we have a final update on Nelly.
Day 1 of 2 of searching over. 500 acres searched from 2am till about 7:30am when the sun came up. Time to nap while the sun is high and hope for a phone call with a sighting.
Now that we are all wrapped up with business here in Georgia we are headed to Tennessee to help @Off Grid & Growing look for Nelly. We will be on location as long as we can and search as much as possible.
For the people claiming that Drones used to search for animals scares them. In 2 years of flying SaR for lost pets and animals the only time animals run is when there are boots on the ground trying to capture them.
