2025 Central Bark policies

1. If your dog needs to relieve themselves before or after their appointment, there will be a designated potty area located on the East side of the property near the dumpster. I will be installing a doggy waste station equipped with poo bags, pooper scooper and a trash can. PLEASE pick up after your dogs.

2. ALL dogs must be under your control anytime they are on the property. Everyone must be leashed or carried inside. This is for the safety of your pet and all other pets that live on and come to the property. No exceptions. I have plenty of leashes available inside the shop if you need to borrow one. We also prefer to not have our new patio “decorated” by the male dogs 🤪

3. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early or late for your appointment. 15 minutes past your appointment time will be considered a no-show and will result in cancelation of your appointment. Being early can interrupt the groom that I’m currently working on and being 15 minutes late puts my entire day behind. I understand things happen and will 100% always work with people and take the dog(s) if I’m able!

4. Please give 48-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. After 3 failures to give notice, a 50% fee of total expected appointment cost will be due before booking with me, this will be non-refundable and non-transferable. I reserve time in my day just for your dog(s). When you don’t show up, that is lost income that I can’t get back. Everyone gets a card with their next appointment date/ time on it at every appointment along with 2 reminders.

5. Showing up early to get your dog(s) will result in your dog(s) going home as is at full cost. I will always call/text you when your dog is ready. Dogs get excited when they see you come in and can be very hard to calm back down, making it very difficult & unsafe for me to finish the groom and also extends the time it takes me to finish.

6. Absolutely no before/after hours drop offs or pick ups. After hours pick ups will result in a $1 per minute per dog charge until they are picked up. After 30 minutes passed closing time your dog could potentially be boarded for the night at the owners expense.

7. Pick-up is expected within 30 minutes of your dog being ready, unless otherwise stated. I usually give everyone a time frame for when your dog will be ready, so this gives most people at least a 1-2 hour heads up. Failure to pick up in this time frame will result in a $15 daycare charge per dog.

8. Payment is due at pick up. All online payments need to be made before leaving my driveway to avoid forgetting. There will now be an additional fee of 25% of the bill added everyday that the bill is past due until it is paid.
