Someone decided to leave a nasty comment on the post where I said I treated animals before they go into new homes, and then quickly deleted it.
Apparently, that means I am adopting out sick animals,otherwise, why would they need treatment.
When you adopt a dog from a reputable breeder, they make sure that animal is fully treated before it goes into its new home. I personally, feel this should also apply to our rats. I specifically do this for pet quality animals, I am not doing this for other breeders and I am not doing this for show quality animals.
That means when you adopt from me, I am going to do everything I can to insure the animal going into your home has a good temperament and is healthy.
If this offends some people, I honestly, think that just means you need to look inward and question why it makes you angry.
My first priority is my rats, that means I don't care what your personal preference is on how you do things at your rattery, I am going to do what is best for my animals, and in the end insuring those who are adopting from me are getting quality pets.

Fester is as sweet as they come. When he came to me we weren't sure he was going to make it. His whole face was swollen and both of his eyes were bulging out and he sat hunched up in pain in the corner and would not move.
He did eventually lose one eye and the other is permanently deformed.
But he enjoys a happy life with lots of cuddles and bed time.
Fester is not up for adoption as he is horribly bonded to me and spends most of his day besides eating with me.

Sometimes we end up getting other rescues in, and recently we ended up with three cats that had been dumped. We are at max with our rats too.
We have several younger and older kids available, but we are also taking donations for both the cats and the rat rescues. The cats need to be neutered and vaccines and the other one needs a sedate and shave due to severe matting. Rat donations goes to supplies and food.
We do take monetary donations and donations of supplies.
If you would like to donate or adopt please DM.

We also have T-shirts available and a rat themed coloring book that all the proceeds go to the rattery.

Did you know that before we place ratties into new homes, they get a full vet treatment?
Of course rats don't need vaccines, but I always like to do a course of antibiotics and a deworming treatment to be safe whenever new kiddo's go into their forever homes. All it take's is ingesting one single flea for them to get tapeworms, so, just like your dogs and cats they need regular flea and mite prevention and deworming.
Then we do two weeks of a prophylactic antibiotic, to ensure your new fur babies are safe traveling and going into their new homes.

Ripley and Magoo are two special needs kids who will be up for adoption after they complete their treatment.
Ripley lost both hind feet and is blind in one eye, but that doesn't stop him at all, he is a Russian blue rex. Magoo is blind and missing one eye due to injury. He is a pink eyed Himalayan .
Both boys are under a year old and are looking for their forever people.
Adoption fee for the pair will be 3 0

Adoptions are way down, and I really need to get some of these guys into new homes I am doing reduced adoption fees in June.
Same rules apply. No breeder or Feeder Homes. I do follow -ups on everyone.

Adults under a year- 10 (these guys would do wonderful if you just had a ratty become a member of the Lonely Hearts Club)

Babies- 15

We also take donations of cages and supplies (sorry no food because it's a risk) and monetary donations for the rescue aspect of the rattery. You can DM for donation information.

Snicker doodle, Lily and Astrid are a trio of girls I would like to have adopted together as they are bonded.
Astrid is a little on the smaller side but I expect her to pick up in size as she matures.

We can not take in any more owner surrenders , until further notice.
Adoptions are way down, so funding is not coming to support the rescue, also, we simply do not have the housing for the amount of rats I am being contacted about daily.
I would love to help, honestly, but until adoptions pick up and some animals get into new homes and the funding is coming in, I absolutely can not take in anymore rats.
I have my personal pets who are part of the rattery aspect and litters that I also have to insure are being cared for.
I am truly sorry, but until further notice intakes on rescues are closed.
I will update when we are in a place to continue taking them in.
Meanwhile, the rescue can always use unused cages and monetary donations for food an supplies. (We don't take in food donations because of the risk of people poisoning items because they hate rats)

My heart rat Reishi has twin boys available for adoption. They are from my silvermane girl Potato.
