Kensington Ridge Farms specializes in importing hand selected PRE (Pura Raza Española) mares from Spain to the United States. At Kensington Ridge Farms we feel that PRE mares have been over looked for competitive riding. Our goal is to train, promote and sell PRE mares for dressage. We strive to select mares that have the aptitude and stamina to become willing and reliable dressage partners. When

selecting our mares we look for natural talent, confirmation, a specific body type and temperament for dressage.

Kensington Ridge PRE's (Canton, GA) is looking for a Barn Team Member/Groom. We are a private show barn. Must have 5 + years experience in a working dressage show barn. Experience with Stallions a plus. Some show travel is required. Bi-weekly salary & private studio cottage is available. Salary is based on experience and housing requirements. 6 day work week. If candidate has a domestic pet, we will address that on a case by case basis. References are required.
Must be fluent in English and able to read and write english without issue.
Duties included but not limited to feeding, watering, turnout, body clipping, bathing, grooming, braiding (french or running braid), leg wrapping (standing wraps, polo wraps etc.) hand grazing, dragging area, organizing and barn cleaning. Candidate must also must be able to drive a horse trailer, additional farm experience is a plus.

Kensington Ridge Farms (Kensington Ridge PRE’s) would like to welcome Matt Yacobellis and his partner Shyann to the Kensington Ridge Family. Matt will be our new live in Estate and Farm Manager. Matt has extensive experience with Farms and everything that goes along with them. He can drive and fix any machine. Repair almost anything that is broken. He is an excellent trouble shooter and will have this place in tip top shape in no time. Not to mention he is also a welder and there are so many things I am not even mentioning. I know the farm will be in good hands.

Matt will be a true asset to the Estate. I am very happy to have you with us.

Matt is also an accomplished farrier who has trained under some of the best farriers in the country.

Matt has excellent horse experience thanks to his Aunt Donna. He will be able to help with emergencies, Trailering etc. Thank goodness. And he is excellent with my dogs. They all already know him from my farm in Florida.

I have known Matt since he was a child. I watched him grow up on his parents and aunt and uncles farms. I am extremely close with his family. His family is one of the reasons I chose to move to this area of Georgia.

Matt and Shyann are very excited to be coming on board with the farm not only to help grow and improve the farm but to be closer to his family. This is a move they both have been wanting to make for some time now and the timing for us both could not have been better. Not to mention the added bonus of the climate difference and seasons. Welcome Matt and Shyann
