All our flights are emotional, but today's is especially moving. Partnering with the The Humane Society of the United States we are flying 52 dogs rescued from a dog-fighting operation in New Jersey and a large puppy-mill in Oklahoma who have been undergoing rehabilitation and are now being transported to partner shelters in Chicago, Illinois and The NOAH Center and Humane Society for Southwest Washington in the Pacific Northwest. These dogs have experienced so little love and companionship in their lives but are still so sweet and trusting, we are honored to play a part in their happy ever after!

I know this should just be common sense but sad to say, no. Not trying to make anyone upset but I see people posting EVERY DAY about lost and found pets. It would be so much easier to contact owners if said pets had a collar with tags with current owner information on them, or even a collar with information on the collar itself. Sure having your pet chipped is good but not good enough. What if your pet gets out after hours and no bet office can check for a chip? Please love your pet a little more and help up all with a collar and tag with current owner information. Stay SAFE, PEACE ❣️❣️

Just a friendly reminder, that concrete and asphalt is far to hot to be walking and running your dogs, not to mention the high temperatures we've been having, after all it is summer. Please think about your pets, if you want to run when it's 95-100° out, go for it but leave your pup's in the nice air-conditioning. Stay safe, PEACE ❣️

As you know the surrounding fires are bringing so much smoke which brings the unhealthy air, the news tells us to stay inside if possible and ware a mask while outside, well this unhealthy air effects our pets as well. Dogs,cats,birds etc.You should limit their time outside as well. Maybe not take the pups on long walks until the air clears somewhat or take them first thing in the morning. STAY SAFE ❣️ PEACE ❣️

The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Aug 14, 2020.

Good morning, Happy Friday!! Just a quick reminder about the winds we seem to get in the late afternoon. PLEASE take notice of any ways that your gates might blow open. Remind the pool guy, the gardener, your Pet Sitter, anyone who might be entering your yard, make sure they ALL remember to LATCH that GATE, pull on it just to make sure, EVERY time ❣️ Have a great weekend 😊
