The absolute hardest part of owning horses is having to say goodbye. Yesterday was an extraordinarily hard day as I lost my precious ChaChi pony. ChaChi was my first pony purchase and I adored him. He was always sweet and everyone loved him.

ChaChi was a barn favorite, a horse show pony and a lesson pony extraordinaire. He was the perfect teacher, always careful and safe. He made his riders feel comfortable enough to groom and tack up on their own and he gave them all of the confidence in the world as they learned to ride.

He was opinionated at times- he hated baths but loved being body clipped, he hated the woods and everything about trail rides but he was a saint in the ring. He was always a good sport and didn’t mind wearing sparkly hoof polish or his Christmas and Halloween costumes either. He lived well into his 30s and he was loved by all. I am thankful for the 9 years that ChaChi was in my life and for SO many memories and stories that I’ll always treasure. ❤️❤️❤️

I can’t believe this was SIX years ago! Gosh, time flies, he was my “new boy” because I hadn’t even settled on his name… I bought him off of a video and this was the first time seeing him in person. I knew he’d be perfect, and he IS- Beau, Mr. Beaujangles, the most perfect boy! 💖🦄💖
