Good afternoon everyone, we will not be opening until 3pm today.

Super worms will not be available until later next week and our cricket order did not show up this week either. Our rodent feeders supply should be solid though!

Quick update on the new location. With every great thing built in this world, there is always obsticles. Being honest, building a business is no different. Unfortunately we were told that a fairly expense update needs to happen to the location before it can be used for business.

We are excited to go up against this challenge and figure out how accomplish said task. However, this could be a longer than anticipated project. As of right now, we are still moving fourth with the opening of the silver springs location but trying to give an opening date is unavailable.

We have been getting a lot of interest as to why we decided to open on silver springs and being honest, the future of that location and what it's going to be is not set in stone. We have tossed multiple ideas. Some including a birthday party location/ a reptile rescue location/ or even a breeding facility that we can set up and give tours to!

As of right now guys, I don't know exactly where I'm taking Triforce. I do know that my love for animals and the drive to help them is a feeling that will never go away. I will continue to do what I can to spread information and supply whatever I can to the community to help it grow towards a postive direction.

Few pics of some new residents and an arboreal bio build we did! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Remember, we do outcalls and reptile boarding as well!

We will be switching rewards systems and going digital. Please be patient as we switch everything over and transition through the process. New punch cards will not be passed out. Hopefully our new sales system will be operational by the end of this week.

Hey guys! Our store freezer that holds our frozen feeders was accidentally left open a crack and unfortunately thawed out the rats over night.

With that said, we will be giving away the select sizes for the rest of today and tomorrow. They will be kept in the fridge and are still safe to feed.

Good morning reptile fam! A few things worth mentioning on this post, one of them being a reminder about the Carson City reptile expo that's happening the 15th and 16th of June. This will be the expos 3rd year being operational and we are even more excited to say that this will be the first year that Triforce will have a few tables as a vendor! Our tables will be setup next to the local Carson 4H Reptile club tables. Sighn ups, information, and a unlimited amount of smiles will be available at both of our tables so make sure to stop by and say hello!

What's new at the showroom? All sorts of things! From Monitors to fish, new residents are showing up weekly. Our aquarium displays are looking quite colorful and busy!

Biodude is coming back into stock next week! That's right, we will finally have a large selection of Biodude soil and other product back onto the shelves. This has been far over due but Super excited none the less.

We will also be doing some slight re arranging of the showroom layout. Please be understanding if we have things moved around or in a unorganized mess during a that time period. Without overdoing this post, the last thing worth mentioning is all the new faces at Triforce. Thank you everyone for their patience as we walk through the training process and have a great weekend!

Good morning reptile fam!

We will be updating our store hours starting 4-9 (Tuesday). Our normal operating days will remain the same. Our new hours will be from 11am-7pm.

Most of you are aware of the rodent feeder shortage that we are experiencing. We are still able to supply live feeders of certain sizes as breeding allows. However, frozen pack orders will be a hit or miss for the time being. Once our breeding gets back to where it should be, the shortage problem will not happen again. We can assure everyone, we are doing everything in our power to be the most reliable one stop shop for everything. This includes feeders.

Hello Reptile Fam! Today (2/4) was declared cancer awareness day. This post is going to touch base on 2 different topics and will potentially get longer than anticipated. For those of you that prefer to scroll by, we wish you have a smooth Sunday! (We did close the showroom down today. Get home safe everyone!)
Opening the doors to this topic while addressing a situation that many of you are already aware of, yes there has been some changes around Triforce. This post will not dive into detail as our next topic should remain the priority. However, I would like to ensure everyone that the doors to the establishment are not closing.
Growing Triforce into its future sculpture in order to maintain our ability to flourish with the community has always been the goal. The well-being of the community, meeting the animals needs, and helping spread personal and researched education will always take spotlight. To me, this is not just a way to pay bills. This is an opportunity to chase my dream while making a positive impact on those around me. The inspirational part-
Moving forward, on January 14, 2024, an exceptional person not only to me but to a whole community passed away due to pancreatic cancer. Many of you know this person as Brian Barczyk. For those of you that not familiar with his name, Brian was widely known for his YouTube channel, his personal animals, and his passion for life itself. He carved the way on the path of breeding, care guides, and inspiration to an uncounted number of hobbyists and small business owners. In early months of 2023, Brian was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer
No one asks to join the fight over cancer on a personal level. Much like wildfire, the flames have the ability of spreading into others life's directly and indirectly causing impact. In this life, we are hardly ever in control of what happens to us, but how we react is our secret power. Even going through both mental and physical struggles, Brian paired his smile with an abundance of positive vibes and continued moving forward trying to complete is public aquarium, his vlogs, and his breeding.
For our next journey, although deserves a post all on its own, calls for another introduction. Some of you have met this kindhearted soul at the showroom already. Let me introduce you all to Brooklynn! Although her positive outlook on life would have never hinted at negative impact such as cancer, 4 days before her 16th Birthday she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma.
Floating back to a personal level, we were introduced to Brooklynn after she had already been diagnosed and started her uphill battle with chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, medications, and many other life-threatening experiences. If there is one thing that stayed the same during her battle to October 14th, 2022, when she was declared cancer free was her positive mindset and a smile that didn't seem to go away. Even under the most unpredicted circumstances, her spirit never seemed to be broken.
I feel like these 2 stories deserve a lot more spotlight than what this post could bring. Life is always unpredictable, and we cannot let the outside pollution ruin our internal outlook as demonstrated by Brooklynn and Brian. To bring things into closing before the post gets crazy long, Cancer, much like other things, can impact our life in ways we can't imagine. For me, these 2 stories will remain to be pillars amongst inspirational statues. If you have ever had to deal with cancer directly or indirectly, this day is about spreading your story.

These ruby eyed sweethearts were just to cute not to share! This litter will be ready for new homes next week.
When we first decided to breed our own rats (at that time, it was strictly for snake food) years ago, little did we know that these furry friends would quickly make it to the top of our favorite animal list. Often times In the general community, rats are commonly thought to be dirty, disease infested, and an animal that one would not consider as a "pet". Now taking into consideration and using the species most commonly used for feeders known as Norway rats and the environment that these species live in out in the wild, yes some of these statements have some truth. However, take a undomesticated dog that has never had a home that lives on the streets and compare it to that same dog that was raised by a loving family since birth. The difference between the 2 are unmeasurable. This exact scenario can be applied to rats. In the wild, these guys are operating on strictly instinct and doing what they need to survive. Diseases are picked up from the environment that they may reside in or cross paths with.
Now much like the dog scenario, take that same rat and place them in a environment where it's clean, maintained with access to food/water, or without being in the constant state of survival mode and this is where their personality is allowed to come out. After some work and socialization, you will find that these animals are loving, social, and playful who are constantly cleaning themselves. Not only this but rats are some of the, if not thee, best parents when it comes to their young.
So what's the point of this post? Its of no secret that Rats are mainly titled as "feeders" in this hobby. It's obvious that snakes need to eat as well. However, if our position can help forecast some respect towards rats and help people understand that's these animals are far from being what the public makes them out to be, than this is our small part in doing so.
We are not saying everyone has to like or own them, but at the very minimum, understand that there is more to these long tailed fur balls than what one may think. In the end, we are all in this hobby because we love one animal or another. Inorder to be an animal lover as a whole, we must hold love or at least respect for all animals 🙂

Us again!
We would like to start adding balance to our posts as a majority of them are about updates and events. To start this off, let's talk about lighting and heating as this is one of the key element to any reptiles well being.
RED and BLUE colored basking bulbs: Upon your own research, you will find that there has been studies and enough scenarios that have backed up the statement that these DO cause damage or possible blindness to reptiles eyes. Now have we experienced this first hand or conducted the experiment? No. Do we speak the language of reptiles in order to obtain a direct answer? Although a solid superpower idea that many of us would dream about, unfortunately the answer is still no. However, majority of the experienced reptile community has agreed to move away from these bulbs for the growth and health of reptile keeping. We do not offer these bulbs on our showroom nor will we shame and judge you for using one. However, it's our job to give out the most educated knowledge and husbandry advice that we can to anyone that asks why we do not have/use them or to new hobbyists.
COIL UVB BULBS: Unlike the colored bulb topic, this is something that can be proven with physical evidence using a tool called a UV meter. Simply put, these Coil type of UVB bulbs are not nearly powerful enough for a reptile that absolutely needs UVB such as your bearded dragon or chameleon (there are many more species, only using these as a common example because of popularity) These are often times sold in "complete setup kits" for reptiles that need far more than what these can put out. Without the offering of proper UVB, your reptile (species depending) will face sickness, MBD, or death. This is why we only carry and recommend T5 style UVB tubes. This post could turn into pages if we started diving deep into the different percentages, lengths, and all around facts about UVB. We will cover this topic on a post of it's own to hopefully paint a better understanding about UVB in general. Moral is, always do your own research and never trust Coil style UVB bulbs.
On to the update:
Most of you that have snakes already know and have unfortunately had to deal with the inconvenience of our shortage on particular sized rodent feeders. If your interested as to why or how this took place, we will happily explain. For now, we will jump over the excuse to say that the problem has been resolved and our numbers are back to where they need to be. However, pinkies and pups do not turn into mediums and larges overnight and taking the frustration out on the staff when they inform you that we are out of your desired size will not speed up the process. Please, please be patient as we do not have a special formula to make the little guys grow at expedited speeds (we do wish though!). We are realistically looking at another 2-3 weeks before anything over a small becomes continuously available again. We sincerely apologize and highly appreciate everyone who has been understanding.

Good morning everyone, this year we have decided to do an Angel Tree for the kiddos at a local school whose families may not be able to afford much. I (Jacque) remember picking a couple of kids off of an Angel Tree every year with my grandma and would like to be able to have this tradition in our store. If anyone is interested in participating please feel free to stop by the store and pick a kiddo.
I ask to have the gifts brought into the store no later than the 17th of December so I can get them to the schools on the 19th of December. If anyone has any questions please message or call us.
